They also delve into American weirdness: flat-earther conventions, Kremlin-backed California secessionists, and the men who travel to the AVN awards, to name a few, and also talk about why conservatives and libertarians need to be a bit more circumspect regarding the tradeoffs of some of the policies they champion.

Tupy to discuss the new book he co-authored with Ronald Bailey, Ten Global Trends Every Smart Person Should Know: And Many Others You Will Find Interesting. Strang conducts a “Con Law for Dummies” presentation for the benefit of Tim, and argues that originalism is the best explanation of our existing constitutional practice and why is it the most attractive theory of constitutional interpretation, easily accommodates societal and constitution change, and does a better job of advancing human flourishing than other schools of constitution interpretation. He then delves into the different schools of originalism, talks about accommodating non-originalist constitutional precedent, and the importance of judicial virtues in law and in constitutional interpretation.
