Since the start of 2023, I’ve started seeing more news releases saying, ”ABCD Company Reports on Ongoing Investigation into Potentially Improper and Illegal Trading Activity in the Company’s Common Stock.” This was a first for me, and a trend that I wanted to understand better: is this the same fight as the AMC/Gamestop short squeeze that galvanized retail investors to fight back against Wall Street?
