Impact!

We’re thrilled to welcome back David Ash, visionary physicist and prolific author, to probe into how the concept of superenergy may help explain supernatural phenomena. David takes us deeper into understanding the physics that underpins his thinking, as we open up to considering the potential for so-called “miracles” to occur in a dimension where travel at faster than the speed of light is possible.

You can hear the second part of our conversation, including David’s thoughts in Near Death Experiences, the miracles of Jesus and more recent gurus like Sai Baba, next week.

Shared intention

The appalling crisis in Gaza where babies are dying of malnutrition has really pulled at our heart strings this week. We suggest holding as our weekly focus the intention:

We will that all who have influence in permitting and distributing aid to Gaza will be moved by the cries of malnourished babies in the region who are perishing under their gaze.

This week, Clive shares his experience of hosting daily intention sending sessions on the Insight Timer app. He talks about the power of collective intention shared by people who never physically see and speak to each other, and the challenges and joys of holding intention when not knowing who may come online means that having a “beginner’s mind” and connecting with a changing group of fellow intention senders is always relevant.

This week, Ellen talks us through the importance of water as a focus for our intentions and prayers, not only for the health and survival of human beings, but for wider life, maintaining peace, and our planet as a whole. The many ways that water impacts lif on Earth is staggering, and it's no wonder that Ellen has chosen this topic as the focus theme for Global Healing Response this quarter. As usual, we also consider topics in the news that are calling out for our attention, and celebrate one or two good news stories that are happening too.

This week, we had an uplifting time talking with Ann Arbor-based educator, musician and multi-disciplinary therapist Rob Meyer-Kukan. Rob is the owner at 7 Notes Natural Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he applies his extensive skill set and anatomical background to help people to hear, see, and feel true wellness through work with the body. He began his practice in 2015 as the Healthy Musician Institute, LLC, serving musicians and performing artists with repetitive strain injuries.

Among his many talents, Rob teaches piano, is a licensed massage therapist, sound therapist, a level III trained Reiki Practitioner and Teacher, and a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator. He is also currently studying naturopathy with plans to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Rob’s offers sound baths, workshops, classes and more (see below for details of upcoming workshops and for a link to Rob’s YouTube Channel, which offers opportunities to experience a sound bath over the miles).

Rob is very attuned to the power of sound vibration, entrainment and frequency, especially in encouraging balanced, natural health, and in the collective work of intention and healing (he is an advocate of pioneering sound therapist Jonathan Goldman’s principle that Frequency + Intent = Healing). We talk especially about the effects of sound baths and sound healing, as well as the connecting power of sound for individuals and like-minded (or perhaps we should say, like-hearted) communities.

Shared intention

Taking a good news story this week that we’ll look at later, CO2 emissions in the EU dramatically fell last year, but still need to fall further to meet the bloc’s COP Climate commitment.

We will that all who have influence within EU nations will continue to be open to, be guided by, and promote actions and policies that help reduce their nation’s CO2 emissions.

Please join us in holding this.

Taking one of the many aspects of Global Healing Response’s theme for this year, Our Planet, we might take inspiration from Roana Jones, who said, “When I look at our planet, I don’t see any borders. So, I see you as Citizen of Earth just like me, this is who we truly are.” Our suggested focus for this week is:

We will that all human beings remember that we are all caretakers of the same planet, our Mother Earth.

This week, ahead of several major commemorations of The Holocaust this weekend, we turn our attention to the evil of genocide, and its continuing prevalence in the world nearly eighty years since the fall of the Nazis. Ellen shares a touching story of Holocaust heroism and survival from her own family.

We also offer our regular update on news stories from around the world, suggesting where we might focus our intentions and prayers.

This week, we’re thrilled to welcome back David Ash, visionary physicist and prolific author, for a continued chat on the nature of energy, where quantum physics is heading, and more. David draws on his decades of thinking and experience, offering imaginative analogies and down-to-earth language make even some hard concepts in science very easy to understand! His many books include Myths in Modern Physics, Continuous Living in a Living Universe, and The Vortex Theory – A Bridge Between Ancient Yoga, and Modern Physics.

We also talk about David’s songwriting and are treated to a few glimpses ofhis brilliant new album, Balm for the Soul. David also talks about his newpodcast, The Open Way, which we thoroughly recommend subscribing to (see link below).

In our news feature, we look at the mental health crisis facing many military veterans in the US, and also turn our attention to tensions between China and the US following Taiwan’s Presidential election, the continuing war between Israel and Hamas following 100 days since Hamas launched its attack, and find out how one capital city is turning the curse of litter into a recycling opportunity.

This week, we’re thrilled to talk to visionary physicist David Ash, whose baptism into the world of quantum physics came at the tender age of 6! David’s groundbreaking work has been presented at the Royal Institution in London, and been presented to non-academic audiences through a prolific writing and lecture career that has seen have travel the world. His many books include Myths in Modern Physics, Continuous Living in a Living Universe, and The Vortex Theory – A Bridge Between Ancient Yoga, and Modern Physics.

We chat about how David’s theories bridge the gap between science and spirituality, and among many other things, chew the fat on the nature of energy, the idea that we are one consciousness, and why even though everything is energy, it still hurts when we stub our toe! David’s imaginative analogies and down-to-earth language make even some hard concepts in science easy to understand.

Among having many other talents, David is also an accomplished singer-song writer and treats us to a few glimpses into his brilliant new album, Balm for the Soul. David also has his own podcast, The Open Way, which we thoroughly recommend subscribing to (see link below).

Our special news focus homes in on an uneasy peace between Venezuela and Guyana over a longstanding border dispute. As always, we also catch up on what’s happening elsewhere in the news, to see where our intentions are needed.

Note: An explainer for non-UK listeners: David’s mention of the “11 Plus” in our interview refers to a test taken by children in schools in England and Northern Ireland at the age of 11.
