Thursday saw the last eight hours of the Senate’s question and answer session with the impeachment managers and the defense. We laughed, we cried, we learned a lot about what Alexander Hamilton thought about a lot of things. But all of that has led us to today, when the Senate votes on whether to allow witnesses to be called — or if we have the president’s acquittal in the next day or so.
