What do you feel most insecure about? Thatās the question I asked in a post a few months ago. Hillary answered and now weāre friends! Easy peasy!Ā
Today weāre talking about how those are the moments that can turn social media friendships into real life friendships. You have to be vulnerable and honest and authentic to really make connections in this world.
Sometimes it seems like so much of what we see on social media is fake, but we can change that and truly connect with others by being open and honest.

So the phrase āfake it til you make itā has always rubbed me the wrong way. Any other time the word āfakeā is NOT something you wanna be. So I think itās always been hard for me to wrap my brain around it being sound advice.
Today Iām chatting with Selena Conmackie about becoming a social media manager and faking it until she made it. Maybe can we change it to something like, āProject confidence until you are confident?ā That sounds ok. Or maybe āPromise and Deliverā that might work too.

Kiri Rawson of 26 Adventures and Me is chatting about her life-changing idea to go on 26 Adventures in a year. That might sound intimidating at first, but you just have to change your definition of "adventure" and lean into your crazy life.
Kiri wasn't feelin' the idea that self-care had to be something you do over and over again, like meditation or morning routines. So she set out to create her own adventures and claim back the self she lost while raising two kids. I think most of us can relate to that!

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 29. It was at a time in my life when I wasnāt interested in learning more about my diagnosis and I just took the meds and moved on with my life. Iāve been on and off the meds throughout my life and havenāt really given it much thought. Until recently.
The rabbit hold of TikTok has led me to some revelations about my ADHD and how itās affected my life, my business, my relationships and just how I function. I wanted to record an episode with my take-aways so far.Ā

Whatās worse than taking action and failing? Not taking action at all. Hereās the thing, you canāt learn by hypothesizing about things. You have to actually do the experiment. You have to do the thing if you want to learn.
That can suck and feel really vulnerable, especially in an age where everything is posted on the internet for the world to see. But hereās the thing...if you want to grow as a person, you gotta try new things. And news flash...you might suck at them at first. But the good news is, youāll get better with time.
Today Iām chatting all about taking imperfect action with Allison Nelson, a coach for moms looking to grow their online businesses. She believes that moms donāt have to wait until their kids are older or they have more time to grow the business of their dreams. Letās fail forward yāallā¦

Ashlee Branstetter is basically building an empire online. Sheās a mom of three, an army wife, and a Christian who cusses a lilā. Sheās also super passionate about helping women find their purpose and embrace their ambition. And sheās doing it all LIVE on Facebook.Ā
Sheās created what is essentially an online shopping network. She has a team of women who go live on her Facebook page at scheduled times and sell their DIY products. She encourages them to share their stories and sell their products in an authentic way that is with purpose. The whole idea is so cool and now Iām obsessed with getting on her page and getting to do it at least once. Or maybe I could just calm down and be a shopper like everyone else.Ā
