The last few episodes have been fun to record because I’ve been able to reminisce about FSY and hear about others’ experiences.

This episode is a little bit different in the fact that MaKayla talks a lot about her experience as an FSY coordinator, which is a completely different role than counselor.

MaKayla’s unique experience and expertise in serving as a coordinator was fascinating to hear about. I can imagine that being in charge of all the “hard” stuff is challenging in many ways, and I applaud MaKayla for all she did as a coordinator for FSY in 2022 (and her service as a counselor in 2019).

Thank you, MaKayla, for sharing your insight into “undefined miracles” and the love that God has for the youth. I completely agree that He loves us a heck of a lot!

Okay hear me out: I know the title is super long (probably one of the longest titles I have ever had haha), but it perfectly captures the topics for today.

Here are some of the things we talked about:
-fishes and loaves
-Heavenly Father using us, imperfect people, for His perfect plan
-having a testimony rooted in Christ (who is perfect) and not in imperfect leaders
-Heavenly Father magnifies our efforts
-imperfections making us who we are

I highly recommend you listen and then ponder in what ways your imperfections make you valuable to God’s team. Because I promise you, you are valuable and needed in the Lord’s battalion!

Korynn reached out to me to record a podcast episode, and I asked her to pick the topic! She chose the story from the New Testament about the woman at the well (it’s in John 4). Our conversation focuses on Christ’s invitation to come unto Him and become more like Him. We talk about how Heavenly Father expects more of us because He has given more to us.

I hope you enjoy this episode and feel encouraged to live up to your potential. Our goal in recording this episode is not to trigger your perfectionist tendencies but instead to talk about how the Savior loves us and trusts us.
