Picking up where I left off in part one, here’s the next recap of my first FSY week in Monmouth, Oregon!

I share four to five stories of times I followed thoughts in my head and what ended up happening.

This episode is a recap of my third week of FSY this summer. Unfortunately, I was very sick this particular week, and that really put a damper on my experience. I’m hoping that miracles still took place and the youth had a good experience!

This is random, but if you have not listened to episode 134, “Thank You’s From Heaven: Part Two,” go do that first. This one can wait!

Everything will be okay.

Heavenly Father loves you.

He is aware of you.

He hears your prayers.

He will answer your questions.

This episode is solely focused on a couple of interactions I had with a young woman while in Rohnert Park, CA. She is absolutely wonderful, and this story is crazy! Take the time to listen and to be reminded of Heavenly Father’s love for us.

After listening to this half of the interview, I realized that we did not talk about the phrase “just wait” in part one. It made me laugh to think about the little caption I wrote that was not applicable for that episode. Whoops!

In this second half of the interview, we finally talk about the phrase “just wait,” and I feel encouraged to use it for positive things from now on.

One important thing we do not discuss in these episodes is that it is not beneficial to always be waiting for happiness to strike or for good things to come without being satisfied with the life we are living. If we are always waiting and never enjoying our lives in the moment, we will never find happiness! So it’s definitely a balance between enjoying life and looking for good things to come!

“Just wait” can be used in different contexts. Sometimes people use it in a negative way, saying “oh just wait til …”

In this episode, Maddie uses it in a positive light, saying, “just wait … it gets so much better!” Our topic today is marriage, and I interview Maddie on what she and her husband do to have a healthy and happy relationship.

Please do not forget that each relationship looks different and sometimes our reality falls short of our expectations. What I do know is that “the best is yet to come” and I find great hope in that!

P.S. I hope the difference in volume is not too noticeable. I tried to turn up my volume to match the audio of the zoom recording, but it is definitely imperfect!
