The question Mark's gospel invites us to wrestle with is profound: Who is Jesus to you? In Mark 2, Jesus repeatedly places Himself in positions of conflict. He challenges the crowds, confounds the religious leaders, and confronts individuals, forcing them to confront this question and inviting them to trust in faith.
In this episode, Whit Casey look at Mark chapter 2 and what it looks like to truly pursue Jesus.

Mark's Gospel starts not in a city or a temple but in the wilderness. Why? The wilderness holds deep symbolic significance. John the Baptist steps onto the stage of redemptive history in this barren, solitary place. It's here, in the midst of the dry and desolate, that God begins His work of renewal.
In our busy lives, we rarely make space for reflection. What could it look like to step back from comforts or distractions to prepare the way for the Lord? In this episode, Whit and Casey dive deep into the first 8 verses of Mark.

The holidays bring a mix of joy and stress as families gather with differing opinions, parenting styles, political beliefs, and more. Learning to be a non-anxious presence can transform these interactions, helping us navigate emotions and conflicts and show up fully, be present for others, and maintain our peace amidst the chaos.
In this episode, Heather shares about the powerful lessons she has learned as she trains to be a hospital chaplain, including practical tips to navigate the holidays this year!
When we think about God's work in the world, how often do we limit Him to what we can see or understand? The truth is, the Holy Spirit is always at work—in us, around us, and through us—in ways that far surpass our imagination. But we often miss it, either because we've confined Him to our expectations or because we've become too self-reliant to notice His movement.
In this episode, Whit and Casey talk about the work of the Holy Spirit, the mystery of faith, and what to do when you feel distant from God.

Some of us avoid conflict like the plague, while others charge into it head-on. Regardless of how you feel about conflict one thing is for sure: it's inevitable. In a world that values quick fixes and easy exits, how do we handle it well? The hard work of staying in relationship—even when it's messy—is where real beauty lies.
In this episode, Jamie and Heather talk about navigating conflict in a way that honors God and promotes growth not only for themselves but for their kids.
