We promised last week we would discuss the new Georgia state election laws, which the left is lying about at every turn to promote HR 1., which Lyin’ Joe Biden referred to as “un-American,” “sick,” “pernicious,” and worse: “This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle. ”

WSJ: “Georgia’s new law leaves in place Sunday voting, a point of contention with earlier proposals, given that black churches have a “souls to the polls” tradition after services. The Legislature, rather, decided to expand weekend early voting statewide, by requiring two Saturdays instead of only one under current law. In total, Georgia offers three weeks of early voting, which began last year on Oct. 12. This is not exactly restrictive: Compare that with early voting that started Oct. 24 last year in New York.”

“The new law also leaves in place no-excuses absentee voting. Every eligible Georgia voter will continue to be allowed to request a mail ballot for the sake of simple convenience—or for no reason at all. Again, this is hardly restrictive: More than a dozen states, including Connecticut and Delaware, require mail voters to give a valid excuse.”

So what does the Georgia law do? First, it gets rid of signature matching, so election workers aren’t trying to verify mail ballots by comparing John Hancocks. This subjective process should concern both sides. It creates avenues for contested outcomes, with fighting over ambiguous signatures. In 2018 about 2,400 ballots in Georgia were rejected for issues with the signature or oath, according to a recent paper in Political Research Quarterly. Those voters were 54% black.”

“Instead of signature matching, voters will submit a state ID number (SS no., Driver’s license, or one assigned by the precinct) with their mail ballots or applications. This way there’s no arguing over handwriting: The ID number either matches or it doesn’t. Georgians who vote in person are already asked to show identification. Anyone who lacks an ID can get one for free.”

Much hay is being made about a provision that prevents third parties from giving gifts, including “food and drink” to those standing in line at the polls. But the point is to prevent activists from showing up in union shirts—or National Rifle Association shirts, for that matter—and passing out drinks and snacks, with some subtle electioneering thrown in.

As for the genuinely thirsty, the new law specifically allows poll workers to provide “self-service water from an unattended receptacle.” Also, the legislation recognizes that it’s a failure if voters stand in line long enough to get parched. That’s why it says wait times at large precincts must be measured three times throughout Election Day. If the line hits an hour, changes are required before the next election.

The law makes ballot drop boxes a permanent part of Georgia’s voting architecture. The terms are tighter than they were during last year’s pandemic emergency, but how is it part of “Jim Crow 2.0” to give absentee voters more options than they had 2 years ago in 2019? The legislation also says applications for mail ballots are due 11 days before the election, instead of four days. If that’s racist, so is the U.S. Postal Service, which urges voters to allow 15 days for two-way delivery.

And of course, Georgia joined 35 other states that now require identification to vote in...

A new Rasmussen Poll Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 64% of Likely U.S. Voters say it is not possible to completely prevent mass shootings like the ones in Atlanta, Georgia, and Boulder, Colorado. Only 23% believe mass shootings can be completely prevented, while 13% are not sure.

BUT, they will make a run at our guns!

History of the Filibuster:

PJ, what article of the constitution created the filibuster? Article 1 created the House and the Senate…but the filibuster wasn’t created until 1837. As a refresher, the filibuster is intended to slow down legislation in the Senate…the so-called world’s most deliberative legislative body.

When the founders devised our bicameral legislative body, they didn’t make much of any kind of differentiation between rules in the House and the Senate. The primary difference at the time was the length of service; the House was intended to address fervors, fevers & the madness & issues of importance of the day, and hence representatives only serve a 2 yr term.

“George Washington is said to have told Jefferson that the framers had created the Senate to "cool" House legislation just as a saucer was used to cool hot tea.”  The Senate was intended to be less reactive than the House which is why senators serve 6-yr terms.

The House and Senate rulebooks in 1789 were nearly identical. Both rulebooks included what is known as the “previous question” motion. The House kept their motion, and today it empowers a simple majority to cut off debate. (REPEAT). The Senate no longer has that rule on its books. It has the filibuster instead.

The filibuster was started in 1837 when Senate allies of Democrat President Andrew Jackson attempted to remove a Senate Censure of Jackson for his role in attempting to partially defund The Bank Of The United States of Gov’t $$$. Essentially, a group of senators threatened to speak all day, for every Senate session unless Jackson’s allies relented. And so it began.

There was no way to end a filibuster until 1917 when the Senate adopted a super-majority rule that required 67 votes to bring an end to any filibuster….which is called cloture. (arming merchant ships with weapons). That rule was amended in 1975 when the Senate reduced the required majority to 60 senators to bring cloture to a filibuster.

Essentially, the filibuster guarantees that the minority party will be heard. Now our friends…the Dimms…are attempting to eliminate the filibuster to create a $15/hr minimum wage, to make Puerto Rico and Wash DC states, to confiscate certain weapons from law abiding citizens, to federalize elections making it easier to cheat, and on and on and on.

The Dimms claim that the filibuster is racist because during the debate over passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, 19 senators filibustered the bill for 72 days. The 19 broke into 5 groups of 3…and a 6th group of 4 senators. Each group was assigned a day of the week to take the dias and to speak for hours and hours.

Now here’s something the left-wing-nut media will never tell you; 18/19 of those filibustering senators were….democrats. The 19th was republican John Tower of Texas. Now PJ, I’m not really good at math, but that means that 94.7% of the...

Podcast #17:So-Called Stimulus Sucks, How Long Before You Can Eat Your Meat!

Hello folks, and welcome back to In My Right Mind. This is the grandiloquent Russ Andrews along the ever-loquacious PJ Jaycox. Have you missed me buddy?

My whole family travelled to New Orleans for 9 days to witness the marriage of my son Dalton to the beautiful Jenny Hathaway…or Jenny Andrews, now. I hosted a crab feast one night, and a $400 crawfish boil the nite before the wedding. The wedding was beautiful, with the lone exception being my speech/toast/roast which I should have spent more time editing…so I’m told.

On Saturday after the wedding about 50 of us wandered down to Bourbon Street, which really isn’t my thing; I’m guessing that about 1/5 of the people there are mere predators. Three people who don’t spend much time in such environs had their wallets stolen. Piece of advice: when in large crowds or foreign places like that, I ALWAYS carry my valuables in my front pockets. Because of our anatomies, that area of our bodies….at least for males and females…is generally more sensitive than is the area around rear pockets. Now if you self-identify as one of the OTHER 62 genders the POS, or the Party Of Science has discovered, well, sorry, but this show is really just for…..men and women.

There had been no live music for exactly one whole year. The place was rocking, and my wife Lori made the observation that America is open for business!

After taking off for two blissful weeks, where do we possibly begin PJ?

The so-called $timulus is a good place. 

I have often talked about the Magic Multiplier effect of government spending on the radio, and I know we spent the better part of a podcast covering magic $$$.  The Obamatron-neo-keynsians often claimed that every dollar spoent by the gov’t increased economic output by $1.50. The dimm-witted Nancy pelosi…(could I have anooother scotch pls) claimed back on 2009 that every dollar the gov’t spends creates $1.72 in GDP. BUT, not so fast.

My three favorite economists are in order; Brian Wesbury from FT in Chicago, Dr. Robert Barro from Haaavaard, and Dr John taylor from Stanford. To varying degrees, all 3 have shown that when the gov’t spends a dollar, we get LESS than one dollar in economic output. 

This is a little bit of inside baseball stuff on economics, but I believe it is germane to this discussion. Most people believe that economic output is the same as gross domestic product…or GDP. Sorry Grandma GooGoo, aka Nancy Pelosi…but you are mistaken. Simply put, GDP is a measure of value added at the national level:

When a furniture manufacturer buys wood from a saw mill for $100 and adds value to it by producing a piece of furniture which is then sold for $400. Economic output would total $400—the value of all sales in the chain of activity. The value of the wood is therefore counted twice—once as an intermediate good for the furniture manufacturer and again in the value of the furniture.

Value added focuses only on additional value of goods and services produced, thus is defined as economic output less intermediate inputs.

That is, Value added = Gross Output – Intermediate Inputs.

The value added in the previous example totals only $300 (as opposed to $400 economic output). This is because value added subtracts the sale of the purchased wood (intermediate input) of $100 from the total sales price of $400, resulting in value added of $300, or $300 added to GDP.

In any event, Dr Barro has shown that when the government spends a buck for WARTIME purchases, the economic output is about 80 cents. In other words, 20 cents is lost in the ether. He has gone on to show that when...

Hey PJ, why did the Mexicans only bring 2,000 soldiers to the Alamo? They only had 4 cars. Thats an old joke folks that found its way into a human-crisis-reality show this week when an SUV loaded w/ more than 2 dozen illegals… crashed into an 18-wheeler carrying gravel, killing some 13 people. Their deaths fall squarely on Creepy Joe Biden’s shoulders, as he has explicitly invited hundreds of thousands of humans to illegally cross our southern border. But…I doubt the senile, old fool even knows about this incident.

We learned 2 days ago that 108 illegals have been sent via buses to America’s heartland who were Covid positive at the time. And that was from just a single detention center in Brownsville TX.

The city of Brownsville administers these rapid tests at the bus station, after migrant families are released by the Border Patrol. A spokesperson for Brownsville confirmed that, since they began doing these tests Jan. 25, 108 migrants have tested positive for Covid-19, which is 6.3 percent of those who took the test. 6.3%...that’s more than 1/16 who are spreading the virus willy-nilly thanks to a demented fool in the Oval Office.

How many detention centers…or jails as detentionwatchnetwork.org refers to them are there PJ?

According to detentionwatchnetwork.org, ICE operates over 200 JAILS…or detention centers for people whose first act in their new country was to break our laws. So, if 108 Covid positive, illegal immigrants were dispersed from just 1/200 JAILS, shouldn’t simple math suggest that 108 x 200 =more than 21,000 Covid positive illegals have been sent forth into our heartland to be fruitful and to multiply. And that’s just since Jan 25. YEP make certain you wear that mask folks. Remember, Health Affairs Magazine in a study they conducted, determined that wearing masks reduces infections by a WHOPPING…a WHOPPING 2%.

Oh… I need to digress for a moment partner. I need for everyone listening to understand that I refuse to be lectured to or intimidated by simpleton, thought-challenged, neo-liberal scum. SO, I was skiing at Snowmass yesterday afternoon. I am 63 yrs old, and sometimes when I need to urinate it is UUUURGENT.

I was meeting up w/ 2 ski buddies at a restaurant called Up For Pizza. When I got outside the mens room at the restaurant…I was in a HURRRY! I rushed in and saw two guys waiting for the 2 restrooms to vacate. They both had N-95 masks on. The older of the 2 went to the bathroom…and mercifully was done in about 90 seconds. Keep in mind that I am…and always have been slightly hard of hearing. So… this clown comes out, and as he walks by me he asks if I am from Texas, to which I replied no. Then he uttered something I didn’t catch…until I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror and realized that in my haste, I had forgotten to pull my face mask up.

Then it dawned on me what the nasty little creep w/ the N 95 mask had said; He told me that “If I don’t want to wear a mask that I should move to Texas.” I stormed out of the bathroom, went up to his table…outside… on a perfect bluebird day, and told this clown that I had to go so bad that I forgot to pull up my mask…to which his wife screamed that I still wasn’t wearing a mask. I looked at both of them and told them that

A.)  There is no outdoor mask mandate in our state, because the virus dies within 20 seconds when exposed to direct sunlight at 11,000 ft above sea level, and that

B.)   Their N-95 masks do nothing to protect the public from them…but instead protect them from us…so if they are so public-minded, then why...

Last week we spoke about El Rushbo and what he meant to us PJ. A listener and good friend of mine named Brad texted me to tell me he loves our show. But that he leaves our show in a pissed-off mood. Which is the exact opposite way that Rush left his listeners. Rush was the ultimate optimist…and so am I. But some of what the left is doing just drives me insane. And we are NOT Rush. There will never be another El Rushbo. BUT, we will endeavor to end the show on a positive note. Thanks Brad C!

The National Association of Realtors reported that homes put up for sale in January 2021 typically remained on the market for just 21 days, down from 43 days a year ago, according to CNN. Housing inventory stood at a record low of 1.04 million units at the end of January, down 26% from a year ago. The median sales price of existing homes rose to $303,900, up 14% from a year ago. FTP 2/23/21

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)announced that U.S. commercial banks and savings institutions insured by theFDIC reported aggregate net income totaling $59.9 billion in Q4'20, up $8.7billion (17.0%) from Q3'20 and up $5.0 billion (9.1%) from Q4'19, according toits own release. 

The FDIC noted that net interest margin stood at an all-timelow of 2.68% in the quarter, no change from the previous quarter. The historical average is 3.55%. Community banks reported net income totaling $1.3billion in Q4'20, up 21.2% from Q4'19. PPP.

FIGHT FOR $15: From Forbes

Two weeks ago we mentioned the minimum wage partner..and I claimed that many union contracts are tied…or are indexed to the minimum wage. I wanted to verify that statement, so I did some digging. Apparently, there at least 2 ways unions profit from minimum wage increases. The first is that so many union contracts are INDEED indexed to the minimum wage

Traditionally, unions have supported minimum wage initiatives because their contracts have been directly or indirectly tied to the minimum wage. For instance, a UNITE contract that covered workers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and South Jersey said the following: "Whenever the federal legal minimum wage is increased, minimum wage [in the agreement] shall be increased so that each will be at least fifteen (15%) percent higher than such legal minimum wage.”

Contracts for Cal Fire Local 2881, which represents 6,000 California firefighters, and UFCW Local 1099’s agreement with CVS have had similar stipulations. Other contracts, such as those signed by Retail, Wholesale, & Chain Store Food Employees Union Local 338 and UFCW 1262, also stipulated that minimum wage increases trigger an automatic return to the bargaining table, where new -- usually higher -- compensation is negotiated.

The WSJ reported back in 2013 that the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union says that pegging its wages to the federal minimum is commonplace.

The second way unions profit from minimum wages increases is that often times union jobs are actually EXEMPTED from minimum wage laws to make their lower paid workers more competetive vs non-union, min wage workers. The Forbes article detailed that in LA, Sheraton Universal Hotel employees, which are unionized, were paid California’s minimum wage of $10, but at the Hilton Hotel across the street non-unionized employees made $15.37 under the...

My father-in-law, Pete Case turned me onto Rush in 1989; what did Pete do for a living?

My first taste of radio was a 60 sec recorded market update at 3PM on WILM in Wilm De. which was sandwiched into a 3 minute local inventory spot during Rush’s show. I had to do the spot live a couple of times…and I was TERRIFIED!

Because of his optimism, I followed Rush’s advice to live where I wanted to live and to do what made me happy for a living. So I am a financial adviser in Aspen, Co.

Then of course there was 10 years of 1 ½ radio shows with Captain Cancel, aka david Bach on KNFO, which is why this podcast exists. I never would have considered doing that show if weren’t for the precedent Rush made. So I owe a LOT to El Rushbo!

Dennis Prager figures that Rush has approx 24,000 broadcast hours on the books. Keep in mind folks…he was also deaf!

Now a note from the little people: aka the NYT’s Jeremy W Peters: “Weaponizing conspiracy theories and bigotry long before Donald Trump’s ascent, the radio giant helped usher in the political style that came to dominate the Republican Party.  Peters went on to say that Rush was a racist, a bigot, and a misogynist. One last shot after the guy died. If I could, I would love to grab this Peters by the neck, drag the toilet bug to Central Park, and rub it’s nose in the first pile of steaming hot dog shit I could find. The reason the left hated Rush is because he had their number…as do I.

It’s now up to you and me PJ along with a 1,000 or so others with small market radio shows and podcasts to carry Rush’s mantle. But make no mistake folks, we are not, and never will be Rush. He was quite simply…the greatest!

Now there is a MASSIVE, world-wide computer chip shortage.  Ford announced 2 weeks ago they are cutting F150 production for lack of chips.  Taiwan manufactures 50% of all computer chips made in the world.

China…only fashions 16% of all of the chips they use for domestic use and for products they export. China spends $228 byn/yr IMPORTING chips. The rub is that it takes years of expertise needed to build a state-of-the-art FAB, or fabrication foundry to produce computer chips. China can’t just build fabs…they don’t have the expertise.

China has viewed Taiwan (which WAS Formosa)  as a rogue state since Mao ran all freedom-loving people out of China way back in April of 1949… in what is known as The Great...

Their social justice meme is built on the concept that all white people are racists, that our country was founded in 1619 to facilitate the slave trade, and that gangs of rogue, white cops roam the streets every nite ambushing and slaughtering 1000’s of black males between the ages of 15-40.

Their environmental activism is built around a hoax that the planet has a severe fever and somehow they are going to fix it…but their fixes ALWAYS include separating you and me from our hard-earned money, and from our god-given rights.  

Their recent moves to silence…then punish free speech are centered around their lie that all 75 myn Trump voters are violent, white supemecists. Accordingly, neo-liberal -socialists need to confiscate all weapons to protect our “democracy” from domestic terrorism.

Their incessant rhetoric about how wealthy citizens don’t pay their fair share of the tax burden are belied by the fact that the top 1% of American wage earners pay 38.5% of all income taxes; the highest burden in the WORLD!

Their insistance that an economic system that is run by the federal gov’t from a centralized location 1000’s of miles from where many of it’s citizens live, administered by people who have never run anything, much less a business, with an emphasis on political patronage to donors and friends vs on products and profits is more efficient than a system that functions based upon the needs of consumers, which rewards risk-takers who innovate and create and produce products that make our lives longer, healthier and happier. (a system that has failed everywhere it has been implemented).

Their lies have been force-fed down the throats of unsuspecting Americans by the left-wing-nut-media…or the so-called 4th estate, their lies have been shoved down our vulnerable kids throats in K-12 & College indoctrination camps, in movies and television shows, and of course on so-called social media.

So let’s flesh this stuff out PJ.

SOCIAL JUSTICE:

We have discussed the root causes of black poverty and it’s associated crime on several podcasts, so let’s just do a quick review.

The common belief peddled by BLM, ANTIFA and neo-liberals in general is that gangs of racist, rogue, white cops are hunting and assassinating young black males by the 100’s every nite. IN FACT (not their truth..but in actual fact), a grand total of 15 so-called unarmed black males were killed by cops in 2019.

At the advent of the welfare state, launched by Lyndon Johnson 56 yrs ago in his War On Poverty..which I call the War On Sanity, the black out of wedlock birth rate was about 23.5%. The War on Sanity’s implied promise was that the state could replace the father as head of household. Since 1965, the out of wedlock, single parent birth rate in the black community has more than tripled to 77%. Neo-liberals LOVE their welfare state, and will NEVER admit that the cause of any racial injustice is of their own making, but let me refresh your memory as to what they have wrought, because it turns out that the gov’t can NEVER replace the father as head of household:

*85% of youths in prisons grew up in a fatherless home.

*More than 90% of all felons, across the nation, were raised in fatherless homes. 90%

*Now folks, I am willing to bet that some of you are battling weight problems. Let me tell you something…you ain’t got a problem. Our planet gains ….approx….73,000,000 lbs every year. 73,000,000 lbs of space “stuff” lands on earth every year. That’s the kind of worthless trivia that haunts my goofy mind.

Two of my wealthiest clients both got theirs! Congratulations! I mean their stock portfolios move up or down $600 every second of every trading day. This is one of a myriad of examples as to why centralized gov’t planning does not work.

As a side note PJ, I continue to hear the Left-Wing-nut Media rail on about one of their greatest fantasies…which is Qanon. They believe that Qanon represents the biggest terror threat in our country. They’re too stupid to understand that it is a joke being foisted upon them by fellow neo-liberals who live in their mommy’s basements. To prove the point, I looked into joining Qanon…but guess what….they don’t even have a website. Wanna know why? Because there is no such thing as Qanon. Sure…some dummies have fabricated tee-shirts w/Qanon labels, and claim to be loosely associated with it…but there is no such organization. Just sayin’!

So here we sit on the precipice of Lyin’Joe Biden, Chuckles Schumer and crazy Nancy pelosi of either passing their $1.9 tyn so-called Covid relief bill by jamming it thru congress via what is known as budget reconcilliation, OR by accepting LESS than $1.9 tyn…remember that $350 byn of the $1.9 tyn is scheduled to bail out reckless Big Blue states that have no idea how to manage their budgets, nor do they actually seem to care!

While we are discussing Big Blue states PJ, can you tell me which 9 states have the highest unemployment rates, and which 10 states have the lowest unemployment rates?

Covid Cases Are Down more than 20% since their peak in the first week of January…which was also 1-2 weeks after the holidays when many of us travelled to be with our families.

As of Wednesday, Jan 27th, 25.6 myn vaccine doses had been administered here in the U.S. 82.5 myn doses have been administered in 59 countries worldwide, which means that we Americans who represent 4.3% of the planet’s population have received 31% of all vaccine doses, or more than 7x the per capita amount of our population vs the total population of the planet. Yeah, Trump did a horrible job. Americans have received more than 7x as many doses/capita than the rest of the world. PJ, did you catch Creepy, lying Joe Biden claim he inherited a mess regarding the vaccine rollout? What a stinking, rotten, liar!

According to the CDC and First Trust Advisors, as of Jan 20th, we had achieved 38% herd immunity. The Fauch….who by the way…is the highest paid federal employee at $417k/yr…(the president only earns $400k)…the Fauch, who by my estimation is a buffoon…has stated that we need a herd immunity as high as 90% to defeat the Chinese bat-shit fever. That implies that the R/0 of Covid is 10, which means that on avg, every person who catches Covid, infects 10 other people. The highest known R/0 of any known virus is measles at 12. An R/0 of 10 would make the Chinese Flu the second most contagious virus known to mankind. Thank you Chairman Xi!

The formula for Herd Immunity is simple… HI=1-(1/R/0). IF…and it’s a BIG IF the R/0 is 10, then Herd immunity would be acquired if 90% of our population (HI=1-1/10) has convalescent antibodies, ie they had Covid and have recovered and/or received a vaccine.

I suspect, from everything I have read, that the R/0 is closer to 4, which means herd immunity will be achieved when 75% of us have recovered from the virus and or have been vaccinated. Now, if you are an investor, this is REALLY important. We are administering 1.25 myn doses per day; half of which are second shots. That means we are fully vaccinating about 625,000 per day. Every month, we are adding 19,000,000 people to the list of those with full antibodies…. Plus all of those who recovered from Covid during that month. 19,000,000 complete vaccinations per month equals about 6% of our population.

So, by the end of February, about 46% of us will have antibodies…PLUS the addition of those who recover from the virus between now and Feb 28th. Let’s say, for the sake of argument that about 2% of the population recovers every month; that is on the conservative side, as it appears that about 3.5% of the population has contracted and defeated the virus every month.  But…let’s use the number of 8%/month of the population that gains immunity every month. That means by the end of March, we should have 54% herd immunity.

By the end of April, we should be up to 62%

By the end of May, we should be around 70% immunity.

Before the end of June, we should reach full herd immunity…so, plan accordingly. Things will start-up slowly; I suspect the first cruise ships to dis-embark ports w/ paying passengers won’t be full….but will start to fill-up as the months drag on. Same goes for airliners, restaurants and hotels.

Understand that the stock market is the greatest discounting mechanism in the world…which simply means that equity investors look 6-9 months out into the future, and try to buy stocks before the herd figures out what is going on. So, cruise lines, airlines, hotels and restaurants should start to pick-up steam by the middle of summer…or about 6 months from now…as long as vaccine distribution continues to stay on track.

Podcast #10 Censorship, Deprogramming and Cost of Paris Accord

Welcome back to In My Right Mind again folks. As always, I am the liberty-loving Russ Andrews, here with my good friend PJ Jaycox. How goes it PJ?

First, here is a prediction: Ever notice how MSNBC and CNN keep a ticker on their tv screens showing the number og Covid cases and Covid deaths? I predict now that Biden is in office, they will start tracking the number of vaccine doses that have been administered…as long as that news is POSITIVE for the Biden administration.

Before we get going on this week’s material, I want to go back and cover some short topics we didn’t get to last week PJ. First, did you hear about how the democrats want UNITY, PJ? That’s ….that’s..why they impeached Trump for a second time w/7 days left in his presidency. Because they want UNITY! Sure they want “unity” which means the rest of us need to “unite” around one point of view. You need to understand conniving, manipulative, lefty-speak to understand what they really mean by UNITY. They want to UNIFY…their power and control over us. That’s the only UNITY these people want. And they want us to ENDORSE that unification of power and control over us…not just tolerate it…..but endorse it.

BTW, these are words from Creepy Joe’s Inauguration speech: “Our history has been a constant struggle between the American ideal that we all are created equal, and the harsh ugly reality that racism, nativism, fear, demonization have long torn us apart.”

As the WSJ put it: “So our political differences are between those who believe in American ideals and those who are racists and nativists? This sounds too much like Barack Obama’s habit of casting differences of ideology or policy as divisions between enlightenment and bigotry.” 

I know I hit on this concept last week, but I believe it bears repeating; how will you be voting on the confirmation of Joe Biden’s far left cabinet picks PJ?  Of course you won’t be voting on cabinet picks…because we live in a Constitutional Republic…not a democracy. In a democracy, citizens are encouraged to vote almost daily on new laws and regulations. In a democracy, 50.01% of us could wake up one day and decide to vote you,…. PJ out of your house and home, ….and we could likewise vote to confiscate all of your assets.  

On the other hand, OUR constitution protects the individual from the state, which is precisely why socialist democrats despise it. The Constitution protects our speech from being condemned by the government. The Constitution enshrines our right to self-defense and, more importantly, wrote the 2nd Amendment to allow us, in the WORST-CASE SCENARIO, to battle tyranny, if and when it occurs. So there. We live under the protection of a Constitutional Republic, and we elect REPRESENTATIVES to vote FOR us.  We DO NOT live in a DEMOCRACY!

Tucker carlson and others predicted the left would use the siege on the capitol to clamp down on conservative free speech. And so it began as early as 2 weekends ago.

Remember how Facebook and Twitter stifled free speech during the weeks leading up to the election? They wouldn’t allow the stories of Hunter Biden’s corruption, as reported by the nation’s oldest newspaper to be dissemintaed on their platforms. Same for the rest of the left-wing-nut media. All of them ignored Creepy Joe’s cognitive disorders.
