The same demonic false gods the Israelite's began to worship when they turned away from God, are the same demonic spirits many in the world are worshiping today! Pastor JD will be explaining how we can fall into the trap of elevating prosperity, power, and comforts above our love and devotion for God Almighty.

In the last prophecy update Pastor JD began talking about the words peace and security. We know that these words are being used frequently in our culture today. But as we know, the Bible says that sudden destruction follows the time where peace and security is touted. We need to be very watchful in the days we're living in.

Peace and security...these two words are pn the lips of people all over the world these days. We're hoping for peace and security in the United States. We're hoping for peace and security in the middle east. These words should be triggers in our minds. They should cause us to remember the words of Jesus.

Do you ever stop to think about how you're living in a spiritual battle field? Satan from the very beginning waged war against the children of God, and even Jesus Himself. As Pastor JD continues his teaching series, he'll be encouraging us to be vigilant because Satan is roaming like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Isn't it true that we are so quick to point out prideful tendencies in others before we recognize pride in our own life? Today, Pastor JD will be reminding us that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Jesus humbled Himself and became a servant of all, how can we who are His followers act as if we are greater than a lowly servant?

As Pastor JD continues his teaching series through the Book of 2 Kings, he'll be exhorting us to rid ourselves of any idols that we may be worshiping. Just as the Israelite's had the tendency to slowly compromise and move towards worshiping false gods, we too can slowly drift away from the one true God if we are not vigilant!

As Pastor JD continues to teach through the Book of 2 Kings, he'll be warning us against growing complacent in our walk with the Lord. Most of the Kings of Israel started off well, but ended very bad. It was always because of a little compromise that these kings fell into sin. If you obey in even the small details, you'll remain obedient towards all God's commands.

The Bible says that when the rapture takes place, people will not expect it...that it will come as a thief in the night. But, the Bible also says that this WILL NOT be the case for believer's. God has given us His Word to help determine the seasons...the times surrounding our Lord's return. Pastor JD exhorts us to not relax because we now have a conservative president...Jesus can come back at any time.

President Donald Trump has made some fairly amazing picks for his cabinet. One of those amazing picks is former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley. Ambassador Haley recently strongly rebuked the United Nations for their ridiculously biased approach to the nation of Israel. Is this a sign that God's blessing will return to America?

Even though sometimes it seems that the wicked prosper, there will come a day when God brings judgment against all wickedness and all wrongs will be made right. As Pastor JD reminds us that God is not only a loving God, but a just God, we'll see through the scriptures that God's long suffering with the wicked will one day run out.
