We know that in the last days a peace treaty will be made with the nation of Israel and this treaty will be broken in the midst of a time of tribulation here on earth. Pastor JD again reminds us that we need not worry about the time of the tribulation...that is...IF you've placed your faith in Jesus Christ. If you haven't....there is grave concern...grace concern!

Pastor JD will talk about the significance of this treaty today.

The prophet Ahijah, although nearly blind, could see right through Jeroboam's attempted deception. Today, Pastor JD emphasizes the importance of spiritual discernment as we go through life. There are those around us who look and sound legitimate, but in reality are wolves in sheep's clothing. We must depend on God's wisdom and not our own.

If we don't know the word of God, we are an easy target for Satanic deception. Today, Pastor JD warns us that it has happened before. The founders of both Mormonism and Islam received their false revelations from “angels of light”. Because they did not know the living God and His word, the teachings of these false prophets have led millions into darkness.

God speaks to us through His word, and sometimes he speaks a word directly to us. Today Pastor JD reminds us that even though we might sense the Lord speaking to us, we should always confirm what we have received with the written word of God. There are those who have been deceived by visions, dreams, and even angels, only to end up far from God.

We often view prayer as a sort of hit-or-miss proposition much of the time. The examples he gives from his own life are testimony to a vibrant faith and a faithful, generous Heavenly Father, eager to bless His children.

As Pastor JD has shared with us many times before...we need to be very conscious of the passing of time. You see, every day that passes is just one day closer to your last day on earth and/or the return of Jesus Christ. It is utterly crucial that you have made peace with God by accepting His free gift of salvation provided by His Son.

Pastor JD teaches in today's message that we need to be careful to avoid the trappings of convenience. Many churches today cater to the needs of the people over the glorification of Christ. When we serve the Lord, our own selfish desires should not matter. We must pick up our crosses and follow Him--no matter the cost.

In today's message, Pastor JD warns us about the repercussions of spiritual leaders not providing servant leadership. When leaders do not take on the role of a servant, conflict and folly often will follow. To become a servant is to put others' needs before your own. This is what Christ did when He came to earth. So, may we lead like Him.

Sometimes we make Christianity out to be too complicated. Pastor JD teaches in today's message that Solomon summed up our purpose as Christians in the book of Ecclesiastes. He wrote that we are to fear God and keep His commandments. There is nothing else. We can be assured we are living for God if we take Solomon's advice.
