When you're neck deep in a trial, it's really difficult to hear from God. Many times, we get our focus off of what God may intend to accomplish and look inward. It becomes all about us. We'll learn today that God is faithful in that He will never leave us or forsake us...this includes the most trying of times in our lives.

In this society in which we live a microwave mentality has overtaken us. We want what we want, when we want it. And sometimes we allow this type of thinking to spill over into our walk with God. We expect Him to be like a genie in a bottle who is there to grant us wishes. Brothers and sisters...He is the Creator of the Universe and He function far beyond our time frames.

Stop and think about this scenario...you're at the mall shopping and the fire alarm goes off and you begin to smell smoke. Now, if you believe the evidence around you, you will run as fast as your feet will carry you to the closest exit. But, if you don't...you'll continue browsing the sale rack. Believing in the imminent return of Jesus Christ should mean that we live differently.
