In the last few Prophecy Updates Pastor JD has shared various facts that seem to lead us to believe that we could be closer to the return of Christ than any of us could have imagined. From the acceptance of Islam to the continual turmoil in the middle east...more and more, we are seeing the signs that Jesus told us to look for before His return.

With the elections in Iran now past, some are breathing a sigh of relief now that Ahmadinejad has been replaced by what some call a moderate. Pastor JD reminds us that a moderate Muslim is simply a disobedient Muslim...because, ultimately; there is no such thing! The Koran specifically teaches violence towards the infidel.

It's easy to fall into the bad habit of answering the enemy when he begins speaking condemning lies. But, as we just heard from Pastor JD...this battle really isn't ours. In fact, Jesus WON this battle at the cross. So, if you truly are His...tell the enemy to take it up with your Savior the next time he comes with his deceitfulness.

Understanding, believing in, and accepting the love of God is one of the single most crucial elements of our walk! This is one of the hottest battlegrounds of the enemy. He loves to throw doubt into our minds when sin...'maybe God loves me less?' Brothers and sisters in Christ, NOTHING can separate you from the love of God.

Though this life can seem to be more difficult that a person can bear...nothing that we encounter can separate us from God's love! It may feel like it at times...but, there is nothing that can separate us from God's love...even our sin. Now, God certainly isn't pleased when we sin and He may chastise us when we do sin...but, it's all because of His unchanging love for us.

Though it's hard to understand, God uses the trials and difficulties of this life to mold us and shape us into the followers of Christ that He wants us to be. So often we look at the struggles of this life and we disdain them. Next time you find your self in the midst of a trying time...cry out to God for a fresh revelation as to why He's allowed it.

Are there some that have been elected to be saved and others that have been elected for hell? This is the extreme doctrine of Calvinism. Thank God that He has elected us based upon what He already knew...and yet, still gave us a choice.

Imagine in your mind standing before a judge in a courtroom. You've committed a terrible crime with stiff charges as the penalty. Now, imagine the judge rendering the verdict...GUILTY, but; this Person will take your punishment! In essence, this is what God has done on our behalf through His Son Jesus...though we WERE guilty, our penalty was paid at the cross.
