It's easy to believe the lie of the enemy that struggles and difficulties in this life mean that you're NOT in the will of God. As we just heard from Pastor JD...that's simply not true. Sometimes trials are a part of God's will for our lives. God uses trials and difficulties to further His purposes in our lives.

When God has spoken to your heart about a given situation...when He has made you a promise...you can believe with complete certainty. His timing when fulfilling His promises is probably one of the hardest things for us to accept. We want God to do WHAT we want WHEN we want it and HOW we want it done.

We know that God's promises are ya and amen! Whenever He makes a promise in His Word, it will unequivocally happen! As Pastor JD just mentioned a moment ago, we get ourselves into trouble when we begin questioning the timing of God's fulfillment of the promises that He's made. We need to trust that God's time is the perfect time.

Our Father in heaven is a gentleman, He will NEVER force Himself into your life. He desires a relationship with us that based upon love, which of course requires choices on our part. Sometimes we take the will of God into our own hands. Oh, the time that is wasted when we do this! We need to trust God for His will for our lives.

The Arab Spring as it's been called shook the entire middle east. And there are still countries that are being affected. Today Pastor JD relates the uprising that happened in Egypt and other countries to Biblical prophecies. The point of the matter is that we need to be ready for the return of our Savior.

With the removal of Hosni Mubarak from the nation of Egypt...the way has been paved for the Muslim Brotherhood. This radical Islamic group will attempt to eliminate any pursuits of peace with Israel. These facts continue to point to the soon return of our Savior, Jesus.

Today we learn that contentment comes from accepting the fact that God's will is perfect for your life. When we walk in this kind of faith, God is able to work in our lives in powerful ways. Paul was imprisoned and yet he was content because he knew that God was doing something that would further the Gospel.

Fear is a powerful motivator that we all must deal with. Many times fear causes us to hold back the truths of God's Word. Why? Pastor JD shares with us this exhortation: 'It's self love.' Everyone wants to be accepted. So, rather than putting relationships on the line with the truth...we hold back because we want to be liked by our peers.

Oftentimes, we approach God with a laundry list of wants...asking Him to do such and such at such and such a time using so and so. Is this how we're to pray? No! We need to come to the LORD with humble hearts ready to listen to what HE has to say and seeking Him for HIS will in our lives and not our own.

It's easy to get in the habit of attempting to tell God what He should be doing in our lives and when. The reason we do this is because we're not infinitely wise like our Father in Heaven. We perceive our circumstances through the lens of time. Our Creator sees what we're going through and has a perfect plan that we need to trust Him for.
