Our thought life can have a powerful sway in our lives. If we begin to entertain thoughts of accusation against another brother or sister in the Body of Christ, the enemy has already has victory in that he has divided. We need to constantly submit our thoughts to the LORD and allow Him to cause us to meditate on those things that are pure and holy.

Humility and pride...these vastly opposing states of being. When we walk in the humility that is being a fallen human...we exemplify the truth about us...that we are sinful and that we need Jesus. But, when we walk in pride, we deny the fact that we're ALL sinners...we declare that we don't need Jesus...that we're fine the way we are.

Today Pastor JD shares with us the difference between what has happened in Libya and what is now happening in Syria. You see...Syria has chemical weapons obtained through Iraq. This fact causes the international community to tread lightly, so to speak.

It's easy to become discouraged and distracted by the struggles of this life. Pastor JD warns us today of the danger of focusing to much on the struggle and not so much on the One Who will carry you through. You see, God never promised a struggle free life...but, He did promise that He would never leave us or forsake us.

Each person on the face of the earth deserves death for the sins that we've committed before our Holy God. And yet, if you've received Jesus as you're Savior, you won't receive that punishment. So, with that in mind...why is it that we get so focused on the wrong that others do to us? Why can't we see past their mistakes?

Pastor JD shares a strong exhortation today to BE READY! Be ready for what? The return of Jesus Christ for His bride! And how can one BE READY? By repenting of your sins, receiving the forgiveness provided in Jesus Christ. Finally, begin to walk as one who ready for the Savior's return...obeying His Word and sharing His truth.
