This is the hardest episode I’ve ever made. I’ve never talked in this much detail about my childhood abuse and why I went no contact with my family. For years, I buried memories of sexual, emotional, financial, and physical abuse. But therapy (EMDR) has helped me confront the reality of what I went through — and why cutting ties was the only way forward.
No contact isn’t glamorous. It’s not just blocking a number and moving on. It’s grieving the living. It’s facing the silence, the loneliness, the stigma. But it’s also choosing yourself, demanding safety in relationships, and creating the life you deserve.
If you’ve gone no contact or are thinking about it, I want you to know you’re not alone. This community is here for you. Share your story in the comments — let’s make family estrangement less taboo.

What do Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us,’ the Epstein files, and Diddy’s trial have in common? In this episode, I connect the dots between pop culture and politics — and share why this story hits so personally for survivors like me.
Kendrick said it best: they not like us. The Jeffrey Epstein controversy continues and for survivors of CSA, Trump's weird response and reluctance to release the Epstein files is a major red flag. Here’s what it reveals about power and abuse across industries.

Trump and Musk are in a full-blown digital war — and I don’t think people realize how big this actually is. In this episode, I’m breaking down the billionaire breakup that’s exposing everything from Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein, to Elon’s influence over the 2024 election, to just how fragile the Republican Party has become under the weight of these two egos.
We’ve got subtweets, campaign threats, and the President of the United States being dragged on the app owned by the guy who might’ve helped get him elected. This isn’t just petty drama — it’s a very real fight over power, narrative control, and who gets to shape the future of the GOP.
If you want to understand what this feud is really exposing about politics, tech billionaires, and the state of democracy in 2025… you’ll want to hear this.

What happens when a state decides that your body is more useful dead than it was alive?
This episode of In Sync with Alexi takes you inside the harrowing real story of Adriana Smith — a 30-year-old Black woman in Georgia who was declared brain-dead in February 2025 while nine weeks pregnant. Instead of allowing her to rest, the state’s abortion ban and fetal personhood law have kept her on life support for months, with plans to forcibly deliver the fetus around 32 weeks.
Alexi breaks down:
This isn’t an outlier. It’s a warning.

What happens when the only person holding a powerful abuser accountable… is the woman he abused? In this episode, I unpack the Diddy trial and why Cassie Ventura’s courage is rewriting the legacy she could’ve had as a pop star — and why so many women still feel unsafe saying a single thing. We get into the cost of survival, the silence around intimate partner violence, and what it takes to name names in a culture built to protect the powerful.

Let's talk about something that bugs me: this idea of a "political savior" in American politics, especially within the Democratic Party. I see us constantly drawn to charismatic figures like Pete Buttigieg and Gavin Newsom, and sometimes we completely miss out on candidates like Wes Moore, who have a lot to offer. This whole focus on personality is a distraction. It takes away from the real, hard work we need to do to build political power and infrastructure. Everyday people need to get involved, organize at the grassroots level, and support leaders who can actually build movements, not just fan bases.

The system isn’t failing us — it was built to function this way.
To exhaust you. Confuse you. Keep you questioning your own gut.
This isn’t about horse-race politics.
It’s about the emotional toll of trying to exist in a country that keeps gaslighting its citizens.
If you’re angry, disillusioned, or quietly losing your mind…
You’re not broken.
You’re just paying attention.

Didn't think I'd be talking about daddy issues and democracy, but here we are! You may think you know Elon Musk, but you have no idea. This is a topic I've been thinking about a lot lately: How does childhood trauma show up in our public life? How can our relationship with our parents influence the way we live our lives, spend our money, and seek power?
Today's conversation delves into the complex life of Elon Musk, exploring how his tumultuous relationship with his father, Errol Musk, has shaped his personality and actions. It discusses the psychological impact of a toxic upbringing, the quest for validation from powerful figures like Donald Trump, and the consequences of Musk's actions on democracy and public discourse, particularly following his acquisition of Twitter.

MINI EPISODE FOR BREAKING NEWS!
In this episode, Alexi discusses President Biden's controversial decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, amidst political turmoil. She argues that this bold move is a necessary shift for Democrats, who have historically played it safe in politics. By embracing audacity and making tough decisions, Democrats can redefine their leadership and inspire voters. The conversation emphasizes the importance of risk-taking in politics and the need for a new narrative that prioritizes courage and conviction over caution.
