It’s Saturday and that can mean only one thing, it’s the day between Friday and Sunday. hmm…scratch that. It’s Saturday and that can only mean two things. It’s the day between Friday and Sunday AND it’s time for Can It Sandwich? Yes, this week I put Oustanding Foods Texas BBQ flavored Pigless Pork Rinds, Smith’s Chicken potato chips, and Koikeya Craft Beef & Brown Sauce snacks to the test.

Ahh, Friday. What better day to review a snack that isn’t a potato chip. Yep, it’s Koikeya Craft Beef & Brown Sauce…snack…thingys? Basically, their extruded corn-based batons (like Cheetos) but coated beefy flavor. Or so they promise…

Congratulations, you’ve made it to the mid-point of the workweek. It’s all downhill from here…wait, that’s a good thing, isn’t it? Anywho, today I am trying Smith’s Chicken flavored potato chips from Australia sent up by the good folks at TreatsFromOz.com (go check em out and buy some stuff - not a paid endorsement). Funny thing about these chicken-flavored chips is that there is no chicken in them. Hmm…

Don’t blink or you’ll miss today’s review of some vegan pork rinds. They’re basically extruded snacks made to look like pork rinds. But this company also does a great job seasoning them which makes all the difference. Exited for today’s flavor - Texas BBQ. There’s nothing like some great Texas BBQ. That is, if it’s done well.

This week on the Can It Sandwich? I’m only doing two sandwiches - Hal’s New York Buffalo Ranch and Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel. Why only two? Because Tom’s “Hot” Fries weren’t exactly hot or, frankly that interesting. And yep, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel potato chips themselves but I figure maybe a little bread and butter will magic it up. Let’s find out, shall we?

As my friend Kevin says, oh lordy, lordy pants. It’s Everything But The Bagel flavored potato chips! I absolutely love everything bagel and really enjoyed Hen of the Woods Everything Bagel potato chips. Only problem with 'em is that they’re not in stores out west. But Trader Joe’s are plentiful. So if this works out, it might just become a staple in the EnderwickNagel household.

Humpday is here and imma try out some Tom’s Hot Fries sent in by DaSnackStopAZ. They went with the french fry shape because, let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good french fry. But these aren’t technically french fries if they’re made with potato AND corn. Hmm, let’s see how they snack out.
