Our guest at 8:30 was Amy Stewart, writer; she has a long series of historically inspired novels, the latest of which is "Miss Kopp Just Won't Quit."  Bob has read them all!  We took calls during the first half of the hour.

Our guest at 8:30 was Nick Crawford, a certified arborist with Davey Tree service; our topic today was preparing trees on or near your property for winter.  Nick also addressed issues such as the current state of Sudden Oak Death and a few other tree things.
