Our very own Edie Tanem kicks of the second hour of the program with her nearly comprehensive list of gardening-related events up and down the bay area; gardeners around here don't exactly over-winter!  Then it's back to the phones with America's Happy Gardener, Bob Tanem.

Our guest at 8:30 is Ed Laivo, renowned fruit tree expert -- he's worked at many prominent fruit nurseries and done a lot of other really cool stuff over the years: including being a returning guest on this program!

Our guest at 8:30 was the amazing Cal Orey, author of many books but this one is about SuperFoods: The Healing Powers of Superfoods, to be precise.  Cal is a great interview and a definite adventurous spirit; we've had her on before about earthquakes, olive oil, and even chocolate; she's researched and written many books.

Edie Tanem is on site and prepared with her burgeoning list of gardening events, classes and general opportunities to learn, all over the bay area -- then it's right back to the phones, where we also learn: from America's Happy Gardener, Bob Tanem!

No guest on our final show here in the quiet hours of the last weekend of the calendar year? Yes, there are gardebners out there and they are awake and calling in on this chilly morning.  Lots of talk about pruning and over-wintering.  Bob Tanem holds court on KSFO!
