Happy Pride!! We are on to week TWO of Pride month and this week, I invited Throne Room returnees, Bri and Parker to list out the five gayest things we have seen/experienced/etc in theme parks. We found a new queer icon in some singing mushrooms, figured out Beetlejuice is basically the Deadpool of theme parks and in the end wrote an entire thesis on why theme parks are the gayest places on Earth. Welcome to the 1st Annual Pride Month Throne Room Extravaganza! We are kicking it off by talking about some of our favorite or essential picks of queer cinema. Whether actually LGBTQ+ or just an imperative part of the culture, we are covering it for a comprehensive look at queer cinema. VIP loyal royals Jordan, Kay and Rachel returned to the Throne Room to talk about all of it. We delved into important discussions such as why The Mummy is THAT bisexual film, the existence of Luke Evans's Cher album, why Poison Ivy needs to be a Black woman and the usual Jordan/Timmy Taika Waititi insert. In our second week of Marvel Month in the Throne Room, I invited regular guest Victoria and new guest Ashley as we sat down with our very regal wine glasses to play a classic game of Fuck, Marry, Kill with various men from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The chaos of the Throne Room knew no bounds as we welcomed in a surprise party crasher that helped us coin the term "Meat Warrior", two individuals started a discussion on why synthezoids would be good sex partners and I regaled the Throne Room with the saddest reason for killing a character. It is now officially March 2021 in the Throne Room and I thought it would be the perfect time to kick off another themed month so happy Marvel month! This entire month, we will be discussing various Marvel topics and to start, we are talking about Marvel's latest series, WandaVision, the first of many being released to Disney+. I invited returning guest, Erin, and new guest, Jordan to talk about the newest MCU series that has taken the world by storm now that it's wrapped up. We cover topics such as which version of Vision is the most attractive, why twitter needs to calm down on the fan theories to manage expectations and heck, there might even be a bonus end credits scene thrown in there for good measure (if you're a Marvel fan, you know ;). As we return to the Throne Room, I invited returning guest, Ivy, alongside new guests Bri and Rachel to talk about the DC Extended Cinematic Universe in preparation for the release of the much awaited Zack Snyder Justice League. Each of us had our own separate rankings but this is how the numbers added up and WE SAID WHAT WE SAID.
