For my second episode of indie-vidually, I spoke to Phlecia and Josh Sullivan of the rock and roll band "Year of October." The two awesome aforementioned musicians met while attending college at the University of Kentucky in 2010. Starting out as an acoustic act comprised of just the two of them, they eventually evolved into a full band. They have three records total, including "Stories" released in 2012, "Golden Days" in 2015, and the record featured on this edition of the podcast "Trouble Comes" in (of course) October of 2017. The record features riffy blues rock goodness, soulful/deep lyrics and vocals, and pristine audio production. We talk shop, writing influences, briefly touch on some film classics, and they share some funny stories. It was a pleasure to interview Phlecia and Josh!
