Indiana’s suicide rate has been higher than the national average since 1999. Suicide is a crime in some parts of the world. However, while suicide has been decriminalized in the western countries, the act is still discouraged.
The phrase Committed Suicide refers to the stigma of a crime.
We talk about Suicide a lot when we talk about crime. Weather it’s a murder suicide case or someone who has lost a grip on their mental health and take the life of someone else then themselves because they don’t want to live anymore. As you heard from the statistics, this is a real problem in the world. So that’s why I am taking this subject on. I talk to Kennedy Harris. She attempted suicide while she was a student at Butler University. But she is using that experience to change the lives of everyone she meets. I am so happy she was part of the show and I could share her story with you.
