Shockwaves around the world today over the assassination of the former prime minister of Japan. Shinzo Abe was shot in the back while making a public appearance, and while gun violence is commonplace in this country, in Japan it's rare. In fact, getting a firearm is so difficult the assassin had to use a homemade gun. And as travel returns in a big way, you've no doubt heard all the horror stories about canceled and delayed flights. Now comes this! Imagine picking up your luggage when you reach your destination and it's a shredded mess! Well, it just happened to one frustrated passenger who spoke with Jim Moret. Plus, America was rooting for little Aiden who was left an orphan after his parents were shot and killed during the July 4th parade massacre. Now, another young boy is touching hearts across the nation. His name is Cooper and he's paralyzed from the waist down due to his injuries from the shooting. Ann Mercogliano has details. And the front-page story causing a lot of outrage. An elderly convenience store owner fatally stabs a man he says assaulted him. Despite claims he acted in self-defense, he was charged with murder and sent to one of the most dangerous jails in America.
