A mother is in court charged with leaving her one-year-old son in a hot car for two hours, leading to his death. The story is even more upsetting when you hear where the mom was for all that time. At first, she thought there was some sort of emergency, then the dispatcher told her she was getting an award from the police department. But what she heard next almost knocked her off her chair.
