Journalists from around the world have headed to Israel to cover the war on the front line. Today, many had to take cover while heavy bombing could be heard in the Gaza Strip. Israel vows a "full siege" in response to this weekend's devastating attack.
And the death toll continues to rise as the war between Hamas and Israel moves into its third day. There are now nearly 1400 confirmed dead, including nine Americans. The images we see on TV are heartbreaking. As Les Trent reports, Israel's 9/11 is having a big impact on our shores as well. Hamas attacked Israel by land, by sea, and by air, with the latter being a surprisingly low-tech, but efficient method of dropping fighters into Israeli territory. We now know Hamas used paragliders to effectively invade. Jim Moret spoke with a motorized paraglider operator in Southern California, who is appalled that aircraft like these were used as instruments of terror, to see how they work. And as the conflict continues, a number of celebrities are weighing in, with many getting a mixed reaction to their posts. The war hits very close to home for Wonder Woman star, Gal Gadot. She was born in Israel and says her heart is aching over what she's seeing on TV.
