However, this year, there are heightened concerns thanks to a so called 'call to arms' on the 13th by a former leader of Hamas. As the shelling continues in the Middle East, Steven Fabian reports, here in New York all of the city's 34,000 officers have been told to be in uniform and ready for any potential attacks.
