A man has been charged with child neglect after he returned his rental car at the airport. Cops say he left his toddler granddaughter in the back seat for 45 minutes in the hot sun…until she was rescued. Now Darrell Brooks is on trial, acting as his own attorney, which Steven Fabian reports has caused anxiety for victims…and at times, frustration for the judge. Brooks initially entered an insanity plea but then changed that to not guilty.
