Emily Duggan has not travelled the traditional motor sport path, starting her racing career in her twenties rather than moving through karts as a child and then into larger vehicles. She is one of a growing number of women competing in state level motor sport and last year, Emily won the 1 hour endurance race for Hyundai Excels and finished 5th in the NSW X3 Championship.

Shea Adam has a voice that is recognised across the world as part of the Radio LeMans team. She is now a full-time member of the IMSA Radio team, both commentating and reporting. But it wasn't the career path that she thought she would be on.

Filippa Guarna, has had a diverse career in motor sport, working for publications like V8X, and Auto Action, before moving to Supercars TV and then to the Holden Racing Team. She established her own motor sport media business in 2013. She is now based in the UAE where her business Driven Productions continues to grow. Her passion for Motor Sport and the desire to encourage more participation by women saw her join the Women of Australian Motor Sport executive in 2013.

20 year old Caitlin Wood now lives in Germany to build her career in Motorsport. 2017 sees Caitlin take on the challenging Blanc Pain Series. In her 12 years of motor racing, she has shown great speed and consistency. These attributes have identified her as a potential star.

On this special edition of Inside Motor Sport, we meet the first lady of Sportscar racing Leena Gade. Leena Gade graduated from Manchester University with a Masters of Science in Aerospace engineering. She was recently in Australia for the Bathurst 12 Hour event with Bentley Motor sport. As a race engineer, she now has a CV that many would aspire to. In 2011, she became the first female race engineer to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
