The special holiday edition of Inside Music Row continues again with host Bailey and co-host Edie Hand.  We look back at Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter singing "Silent Night," The Peters Family singing "Christmas Here With You," and Ben Speer singing "If It Doesn't Snow On Christmas" in this segment.

This is the first segment of a very special holiday edition of Inside Music Row.  IMR host Bailey is joined by author Edie Hand to celebrate the season and look back at some very special holiday memories.  Buddy Killen and Ronnie McDowell sing "Santa's Got Daddy's Boot's On" and next Waylon Jennings sings "Away in a Manger." 

Christmas For Kids is a program designed to help spread a little bit of holiday cheer to kids that normally wouldn't have much to celebrate.  Volunteers pick kids up from school in celebrity tour buses and give them a little spending money in local stores.  It takes a lot of resources to put that on each year, and Charlie Daniels has stepped up to the plate each of the last ten years.  He hosts an evening of music at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, and brings along a few of his special friends.  We caught up with them at this year's Christmas For Kids concert.

For six years now, Tracy Lawrence has truly been finding out who his friends are.  They're the ones who give up a day before Thanksgiving to come out to help at the Nashville Rescue Mission.  Tracy and his friends fry up hundreds of birds to serve to those in need during the holiday.  We headed out to the turkey fry to see what else they were cooking up.

We were first introduced to Sherrie Austin in the late 1990's with hits on Arista Nashville such as "Never Been Kissed" and her version of the Dolly Parton classic "Jolene."  She's traveled many miles between her native Australia, L-A, New York, and her home in Nashville, half-joking that her life is like that of a gypsy in a circus.  Now that lifelong journey has been summed up in her new album "Circus Girl."  We sat down with Sherrie to talk about all her new projects coming to fruition.

We kick off another Inside Music Row with Dierks Bentley and the mention of his sixth album, "Home."  Dailey and Vincent are discussed next as they are releasing their second exclusive Cracker Barrel project titled "The Gospel Side of Dailey and Vincent."  Up next is Janie Fricke as she is putting a bluegrass spin on several of her well-known hits with her latest album "Country Side of Bluegrass."  Janie is now out on the road with The Roys.  Merlefest is mentioned next as it is shaping up for its twenty-fifth year in 2012.  The four-day April festival has over 70 acts already booked at the Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.  Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Sierra Hull, Jim Lauderdale, Steep Canyon Rangers, and Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superatives are just some of the musicians in the lineup.  Finally, we go Inside The Song with Charley Pride and his song "Santa and the Kids."

We've been fortunate enough to chat several times with hot new trio The McClymonts as they find success from their native Australia to the U.S. charts.  We had a chance to look in behind-the-scenes on the set of their latest music video..."Wrapped Up Good."

Artists come from around the world to get in on the music scene here in Nashville.  It's just one reason we're called Music City, U.S.A.  These fans from across the pond can help give us a unique perspective on music, as they come to learn about our studios and hope to take away an experience of a lifetime.  We caught up with a few international artists at a special showcase in downtown Nashville. 

The 17th annual Inspirational Country Music Association's "Faith, Family, and Country Awards" strike a chord with many of our viewers.  The awards show highlights some of the artists that go beyond traditional country songs to make a difference.  You never know where that difference will come, whether in the lyrics of a song or a mission trip to South America.  We caught up with many of the artists involved in the I-C-M Awards to talk about the big show. 

We kick off another show with Kenny Chesney and Time McGraw as they have anounced their "Brothers of the Sun" tour.  Expect to see Jake Owen along with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals to join them on the 19-date tour.  Phil Vassar is also mentioned as he is quite excited about his very first holiday project "Noel."  Host Bailey also talks about "Arizona's 2012 Country Thunder."  The festival is shaping up with Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and Big & Rich.  We also mention the Dean Martin Variety Show as the new six-DVD set "King of Cool" is now on sale from Time Life.  The fourteen hours of footage includes segments with Mickey Rooney, Lucile Ball, Bill Cosby, Bob Newhart, and many timless performances.  Lastly we mention the new "Mog" system available in new BMW and Mini cars here in the U.S.  "Mog" catalog's over 13-million songs and is the first integration of its kind which could transform the way music fans listen out on the road.  Finally, we go Inside The Song with matthew West and his song about adoption called "One Less."
