November 22, 2021 #209 László Cseh on his EPIC swimming career
Hungarian László Cseh is one of the most decorated swimmers in the history of our sport: six (6) Olympic medals, seventeen (17) World Championship medals, and forty-eight (48) European Championship medals.
Michael Phelps was his kryptonite. Cseh finished 2nd behind him in 3 events at the 2008 Olympics, earning 3 silver medals in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 Fly.
In 2014, after a coaching change from György Turi to Zsolt Plagányi, his focus shifted to shorter events.

Gregg Troy spent 20 years coaching swimming at The Bolles School (1977-1997) and another 20 years at the University of Florida (1998-2018).

He's been a part of four Team USA Olympic coaching staffs including being named Head Coach of the 2012 London Olympics.

Coach Troy has coached nearly six dozen Olympians including Anthony Nesty, Ryan Lochte, and Caeleb Dressel.

Chase Bloch is the Assistant Coach of Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving at the University of Southern California. He was born and raised in Hawaii, moving to Southern California when he was 11. Chase was an All-American swimmer at USC and now has 8 years under his belt coaching at his alma mater.

Dave Salo is one of the world's most innovative and decorated swim coaches. He has been on Team USA's Olympic staff 3x and was just named Head Coach for SC World Championships in Abu Dhabi.
As the Head Coach of Irvine Novaquatics for 26 years (1990-2006), he coached a few swimmers you might recognize: Aaron Peirsol, Amanda Beard, Michael Cavic, and Jason Lezak.
As the Head Coach of the University of Southern California (2006-2020), he coached superstars like Larsen Jensen, Ous Mellouli, Katinka Hosszu, Jessica Hardy, and Rebecca Soni.
