What do you do when, no one’s looking?  For instance, are you one way in public and another way in private?  I ask this, because what we do when no one is looking, plays a big part within our character reflecting our heart and it will always speak more volume than when people are actually witnessing our character.  For the scriptures in Proverbs 15:3 and Ecclesiastes 12:14 says this, "The eyes of the Lord are everywhere. They watch evil people and good people.  For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil."  So always be alert and of sober mind, doing the will of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Often times when we are wanting something in our lives so bad, we have a tendency to think yes and go for it.  When instead God, is telling us no or not now, because he knows the complete outcome of the situation.  It’s not that God, is being harsh to us by not letting us go after things he’s placed in our hearts.  It’s just that God, knows our true motives and knows that we are needing to produce more fruit in him. Which means if God, was to give us what we desired in that moment, when we are fruitless in him.  We wouldn’t last long, but would become frustrated in what was meant to be a blessing.

As we end the, "Journey To The Cross" series.  We understand that God, sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to take our place on the Cross at Calvary.  So that we would become dead to sin and alive in Christ, by accepting his finished work. However, as his return nears closer every day, will you accept his invitation or decline it?  The choice is yours, so choose wisely.

When experiencing a power outage in the natural, it can be quite similar in regards, to the spiritual.  Which is why, we are to be alert and of a sober mind and allow God’s, Holy Word to continually transform us for his good.  So keeping that in mind when we are dealing with unfair moments, difficult seasons or unexpected situations.  Always remember, that our next decision is very crucial, because a spiritual power outage, will either draw us to Jesus Christ or away.

We must be attentive and sober in mind to recognize that our Heavenly Father, is a giving God.  God, has given the world his only begotten Son in order to save it, even giving us breath in our bodies, and so much more.  So when it comes to the gifts that God, wants to bestow on his children, we can be blessed only in our obedience to receive his precious gifts; by welcoming his faithfulness and keeping his promises close to our hearts. Or we can reject his gifts we are in the position of receiving, by allowing our physical eyesight to distort us, from our spiritual insight found in Jesus Christ.

In order for us to make the most of everyday in our lives, for the better.  We have to have a made up mind, that we are going to stand firm in the faith, adhering to the instructions that God, gives us and accepting the promises in which God; tells us that we can receive in him regardless of how things may be occurring throughout our lives.
