Insomnia in Pregnancy

Sleep is an essential human function and it is disturbed in 80% of pregnant patients. This can be due to mood or anxiety conditions or a medical reason. In this episode, we will discuss the background information about sleep, the role of sleep in mental health conditions, the ways poor sleep can impact pregnancy and lead to complications, and treatment solutions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and medications.
