Let's celebrate International Women's Day 2024 by reflecting on the advancements of women in social, medical, and other spheres, as well as where the opportunities for improvement lie. I reflect on 4 important topics - insufficient pain management in female-identifying patients, treatment of postpartum depression, lack of hormonal health discussions around perimenopause, and the challenge of Imposter Syndrome in female physicians, who are essential in making changes in those other three medical areas of opportunity.
