I worry a lot about the content that your generations are exposed to. There is so much contempt and criticism about men and women--you can find both, often from people who have had very little life experience.
Or, from people who have real and traumatic experiences, but then make vast generalizations.
My wife and I will soon have married for 32 years and I've learned a lot in that time. I've also learned a lot by working with and knowing a lot of women and a lot of men. People can't easily be generalized about.
I worry that absorbing too much of this will make it harder for you to have happy, fulfilling relationships, whether romantic or friendship, with anyone who is much different than you. That risks robbing you of a lot of joy and meaning, and I want you to be happy!
Sending you so much love, Your #InternetGrandpa
