Frontwoman Maria Lessing from Berlin-based post-hardcore outfit Future Palace joins IUF for one of the more entertaining episodes you will ever hear. We welcome a prolific artist from behind the drum kit who's been at this for over 20 years, artist Ali Richardson from Scotland-based heavy metal band Bleed From Within. Being the drummer and the band manager can be a tough gig, but Ali has remained headstrong throughout his career and it has paid dividends for himself and his bandmates. Whether it's with BFW or Sylosis, Ali has quickly cemented himself as one of the more diverse drummers in the genre. We also speak with him about the new album “Shrine,” and how this 6th album from these melodic death metallers serves as a representation of everything they've been through to stand where they are today. Staying true to their genre can be a tricky thing, but Bleed From Within have not only done that, but have also evolved sonically as they continue to build their fanbase. The frontman of Australia-based band Thornhill is all-in as he talks to IUF about the millions of ideas manifesting in his head that have been translated into the music. “Loser," "Trainwreck," "Another Day In Paradise." These are titles that carry much weight to Arizona-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Kailee Morgue. The latest release, "Loser," from the rising talented artist is one that was written in some time in the past, but putting it all on paper from personal experiences has always been a coping mechanism for Kailee. In this interview, we sit with her as she discusses about her musical journey that began not so long ago. Kailee may be young, but she's been taking not only the Alt-pop world - but the music community by storm with her talent. Combining elements of influences ranging from Gwen Stafani and Avril Lavigne, Kailee has manifested her own style that is seeming to be recognized by the masses. “Love Language.” It's in the name. We welcome frontman Will King from Australia-based metal band Windwaker (Any Zelda fans out there?) onto IUF in today's edition. What a ride it's been for Will and his bandmates, as they've been in the scene for nearly a decade. And now, getting ready to release their long awaited debut album, the patience has paid off. Our interview with Will starts off with the beginnings of Windwaker in Melbourne from 2014, after a few lineup changes in perfecting the cast, they are ready to take the next step. Now signed with a prominent label like Fearless, “Love Language” exemplifies all the power, groove and finesse that any metalcore band will want to desire. Between nu metal, rap, EDM, and electronic elements – no one is doing it the way Windwaker is. Even if it means Will needing to dive into different methods to prepare for these genre-bending tracks. It may be their first ever record, but the sound is as mature as any debut offering. It is a language of love that Windwaker is manifesting to anyone who picks up this album, an ingredient many other genres meshing together to form a sound unlike any other.
