BARE BONES (Written by Wiki):

With all options exhausted, Moon Knight and Buck use an old Captain America line to reach S.H.I.E.L.D. They inform Maria Hill of the situation and how Buck managed to tag the head with a tracker but their responder was trashed in the scuffle. Maria wants to send excessive force but the two rush to jump off the line: "a lighter touch is needed". Meanwhile, Masque has the head and calls her father as she wants to rearrange their deal in order to get a larger portion... but Moon Knight arrives. The two use their weapons to battle (MK using the claws, webs, and shield) but Masque out maneuvers Marc into a submission. Moon Knight, as Wolverine, asks for a bullet in his head but Masque is suddenly thrown off – Buck has stolen the helmet.

Running to his Jeep and taking off, Masque runs outside to fire at Buck and manages to strike his gas tank. Marc tries to stop her but Buck's Jeep goes up in flames. The explosion throws both to the ground and Marc goes unconscious. During Marc's sleep, he is visited by Maya to help wake up and return to the battle. Marc rises and takes down Masque as Maya coaches him; she is now in Marc's conscious. With Masque defeated, he runs to Buck who is still alive. The two quickly run as LAPD and the News are close behind.

Count Nefaria watches the coverage on the TV disappointed in his daughter, however, the police arrive to Nefaria's door with a subpoena. Moon Knight has driven the Count to his last straw.

"The Cabbie Killer"

BARE BONES (Written by Rey):

HIT IT

An unnamed man reads some disturbing news in the obituaries and begins a path of terror to the funeral parlour.

Anyone and everyone in his way is battered, bruised and bleeding and the violence doesn't end even at the destination. The man beats on the priest there who is giving a service for the recently deceased. It is revealed to be the man's father - a father who piled abuse on the man all throughout his life.

It's breaking point, and the man can't help but feel cheated - cheated for not being able to exact vengeance on his own father, for inflicting the cruelty of his childhood.

Moon Knight catches up with the man, after following the trail of blood, and the man goads Moon Knight - then almost pleads - for the Fist of Khonshu to hit him. Not wanting to, Moon Knight finally relents…having to defend himself from the man's onslaught towards him.

The man is beaten unconscious, and Moon Knight is left with an awful feeling in his gut… a feeling produced from not being able to show the necessary restraint.

THE CABBIE KILLER

Someone is blowing up cabs for an unknown reason, and Jake Lockley is very nearly one of the casualties. Brought to Marc's attention, Moon Knight scours the city in the hope to learn more.

From some inside information, Moon Knight checks out a poker game in a cemetery, where some of the city's crime lords get together to play in peace. Moon Knight beats the guards before entering the crypt where the poker match is held. Zilko reveals that it was he who employed an assassin to destroy a cab with sensitive information relating to his seedy activities. As the exact cab is unknown, Zilko has employed Commodore Planet ( a huge hulking man) to blow up as many cabs in the city, in the hope of destroying the evidence.

Moon Knight takes Zilko by impersonating a cabbie, and discovers that Commodore Planet is by Pier… Moon Knight incapacitats Zilko then meets Commodore Planet for a final showdown. Planet proves to be difficult, having succumbed to some strength enhancing drugs..but Moon Knight is able to ultimately defeat him with a good double kick to the head.

Having fallen overboard and entangled in net, Moon Knight deliberates whether to save him or not, but then yields to doing the right thing. He brings Commodore Planet back onto the pier, where the police will eventually find and arrest him.

Andrew: 🌖 10 /10 - Big Fuck Off Moon

Rey: 🌖 8 /10 - Big beautiful yellow man

With a fun little back up story to boot - could this be the best Moon Knight issue of all?

BARE BONES (Written by Rey):

Nonchalantly, Mr. Knight walks into the Bar with No Name, intent on finding our more about Zodiac - the villain who has been playing a cat and mouse game. Announcing his unpredictability to the bar full of villains, Moon Knight leaves with not much to gain for. It's not until 8-Ball leaves the bar that Mr. Knight, Reese and Tigra corner him in an alleyway, pressing him for more information.

Moon Knight takes 8-Ball to an old car yard where a car shredder proves to be ample motivation to reveal at least one name for both Moon Knight and Soldier (an ally and friend of the hero). Manslaughter Marsdale is named by 8-Ball and he is then targeted by the White knight, in the hope of getting closer to Zodiac.

Unbeknownst to Moon Knight, Tigra keeps a mysterious caller up to date with events, and reveals that she is keeping an eye on Moon Knight…but for as yet unknown reasons.

Elsewhere, a fight breaks out between Moon Knight and Marsdale - Marsdale, not able to feel pain, proves to be a tough opponent to beat. Moon Knight goes for the head but it all proves fruitless…Marsdale would rather die than snitch on Zodiac, whom he owes his life to.

Moon Knight and Tigra then visit The Clown (another accomplice of Zodiac that 8-Ball had revealed)...but they are too late…Zodiac has beaten them to it, and taken the head of The Clown to boot.

It's revealed that Tigra has been contacting Black Panther in regards to keeping watch over Moon Knight, and in a thrilling cliffhanger, Dr Sterman returns home, only to be accosted by the appearance of Zodiac, with the head of The Clown..eager to use her in order to bring Moon Knight 'back on track'...

BARE BONES (Written by Rey):

Responding to a tip from Jack Russell - The Werewolf by Night - Moon Knight investigates a mysterious tower that appears to be expecting him.

Traversing many booby traps along the way, it's not long before Moon Knight is confronted with the culprit seemingly responsible - the ever elusive Shroud. The two engage in a lengthy battle, and both are able to gain the upper hand at different points of the battle.

The throwdown ends when The Shroud reveals that he is not alone - The Night Shift are there waiting…but for very different purposes. The Shroud reveals that he hopes to recruit Moon Knight into the Night Shift, and in a surprising revelation, hopes that Moon Knight will lead them in his place. The battle in the tower and the traps set were an elaborate scheme to test Moon Knight, and the White Knight does not take kindly to being played.

Moon Knight responds saying that his allegiance is still with the Avengers and remotely calling upon his Mooncopter, Moon Knight ponders the proposition, and the man who seems to be a kindred spirit…the one called, The Shroud!

BARE BONES (Written by Wiki):

Marc disappears into Moon Knight's subconscious as Wolverine works on autopilot. In Marc's subconscious, he is Jake once again in New York after a night in the cab. He is greeted by Marlene who asks him what did he destroy today – he destroys everything he touches. Marc wakes up in shock to a hospital room handcuffed to the bed not knowing how he arrived. Hall arrives to the hospital to question a un-finger printed Moon Knight, but just as he arrives to the ER wing, Hall and the other officers along with the staff faint; Buck released a gas in order to extract Marc. Buck confirms that Maya didn't make it.

Back at Nefaria's mansion, the Count can't regain his composure after the attack but he wants Marc dead immediately. He calls upon his daughter, Madame Masque to finish the job. Meanwhile, Marc has been off the grid for some time at his house as he dwells over his recent loss. The Wolverine persona tries to bring Marc to action but he cannot move. At the county morgue, Maya's body and items have been confiscated, but Madame Masque breaks in and kills the doctors. She detects vibranium in the staff Buck constructed for her and tries to back-trace the source of the deal for this metal. Once Masque gets her intel, she follows Buck. Late one evening when Buck drives to Marc's garage to work, three red laser dots rest over his shoulder and then BOOM. Marc runs to his garage to investigate and sees Buck caught in the debris. He tells Marc that she has the Ultron head.

BARE BONES (Written by Rey):

With Moon Knight injured from the bomb blast that decimated the Midnight Mission, Zodiac capitalises on Marc's disoriented state and continues to beat on him. Meanwhile Reese frantically runs to seek aid and soon finds an unlikely ally.

Returning to the Midnight Mission, Zodiac continues his assault and intends also to kill Soldier - motivation for Moon Knight to come after him. Without warning, Zodiac is attacked from behind and it's revealed that Hunter's Moon has come to the rescue, having listened to Reese's plea for help.

Unable to feel pain, Zodiac steadies himself and makes his escape by blowing up some cars parked near the mission. The intent proves successful, as it distracts Hunter's Moon, allowing Zodiac to escape. There is nothing more to do, but help Marc and tend to his wounds.

After a brief vision of Khonshu, Marc awakes and finds Dr. Badr (aka Hunter's Moon) stitching him up. Badr explains that although they have had their differences, they still are brothers - both sons of Khonshu. Marc falls unconscious and enters a dream-like state - travelling through his own mind as Badr explains how he came to be the Fist of Khonshu.

A diligent and studious individual, Badr soon discovered that knowledge didn't bring him closer to his own spirituality, nor did he feel the presence of his god. Through this, he nurtured his rational, pragmatic side and lost touch with his faith.

A savage attack by vampires set Badr on the road to meeting Khonshu, and it was from this salvation, that Badr finally experienced what he had yearned - to know a god. This in turn grew into animosity for Marc, as Badr felt Marc had squandered his gift.

Wrapping Marc up in bandages like a mummy, Badr physically heals Marc whilst explaining his change of heart towards Moon Knight. Reese's action to approach Badr, despite the danger she put herself in, brings him to the realisation of the nobility of those he once thought petty.

Marc soon heals (not completely) from his wounds, but Badr's work is done and an alliance is formed.

Outside Tigra and Reese collect Marc and take him back to the Midnight Mission, where he is met favourably by the community. Mr. Knight heads inside, and despite the ruins around him, declares that he IS Moon Knight…and he's not going anywhere…
