This was a really long episode because we are so passionate about wrongful convictions, therefore we had to break it up into two parts, so Steph and I will cover our cases on the next episode.  Bet ya can't guess which cases we'll be covering! :0)  Shelby is back in the house for this one, and my brother from another mother, Alex, is guest hosting!  You guys will love him!  These cases will hopefully bring to light the fact that in some rare cases, justice is actually served, and by justice, I mean the exoneration of an innocent person who was wrongfully convicted by our ever corrupt justice system.  And of course Liz and Andi will liven thing ups with the Clink N Drink!  Please take some time to watch the documentaries regarding these cases.  Maybe, like us, it will inspire you to do something about it!

In this episode we talk about the tragic case of Elizabeth Ann Price.  Elizabeth worked the entrance gate at an offsite long-term parking area for the Lubbock Airport.  She was brutally attacked and murdered shortly after arriving at work that day.  Fifty years have passed and her case has just now been solved.  There is no real justice in a case like this.  Oddly enough, her case was linked to notorious serial killer, Henry Lee Lucas at one point in time.

Hi listeners.  In this episode we will cover the extraordinary story of Steven and Cary Stayner.  At the age of 7, Steven Stayner was abducted and held captive by a child predator for seven years.  After his abductor decided to take another child, Steven took matters into his own hands, in order save the child from the torture and abuse he had suffered.  He returned home a hero, but his brother Cary wasn't so impressed with Steven's new found fame.  His jealousy of Steven ignited an ominous fire in Cary that would spark a series of heinous murders in the nearby Yosemite National Park.  This story is unbelievable!  You won't want to miss this one.  Love y'all!

In this episode, we will discuss the wrongful conviction of James Reyos.  He was convicted of the brutal killing of an Irish priest in Odessa, Texas in 1981.  Although Reyos had proof that he was 215 miles away at the time of the murder, he was still found guilty.  Reyos was a mild-mannered, gay Apache Indian from New Mexico, which apparently our justice system decided, was reason enough to convict him.  This is just another case of "we got our man" syndrome.  Let us know your thoughts.  Also, if you, or someone you know has been wrongfully convicted of a crime, and you would like us to share your story, please email us at [email protected].  We would love to hear from you.

In this episode me & Steph discuss the tragic double murders of Kay Harrelson & Peggy Merimon, both of Lubbock, Texas.  They were both murdered by their co-worker, Mickey Weldon Patterson.  Ironically, his job title at the Lubbock State School, was Director of Risk Management!  WHAT?  Seems the only risk he managed, was that of being his friend.  Choose your friends wisely people, and be on high alert when it comes to co-workers.  They aren't always who they seem to be.  Hope you guys enjoy this episode.  Let us know your [email protected].  Byeeee!

This is the story of the murder of Dr. Brigitte Curtis in Lubbock, Texas in August of 2023.  Dr. Curtis was murdered by her own son, Peter Martinelli, in her front yard, in broad daylight.  Dr. Curtis was a huge part of the mental health community in Lubbock, and we thought her story should be told.  Dr. Curtis was a very special woman who will forever be missed by her family, friends, and the community.  This is just the beginning...  there's a long way to go with this case, and we will be following up.

Hey guys! Welcome back to Intoxicology, Season 3!  We have a new co-host joining the Intoxicology family!  Stephanie from last season's Doc Shops, has stepped-up to fill Shelby's shoe's as co-host.  Shelby is still a huge part of the Intoxicology family though.  She will be co-hosting with us on Doc Shops so you'll still get your Shelby fix!  You guys welcome Stephanie, and show her some love!
