In this introductory episode, Matt shares how hearing the word "No" approximately 10,000 times as an Actor, coupled with having had some deep talks with impressive people throughout his life, led him to believe that he has something to add to the conversation of Perseverance.  While he's still not comfortable calling it a "show" just yet, he can tell you what you to expect.... from the types of guests, to the tone, to his hope that by digging deeper than surface soundbites from "successful" people, he and his guests can expose their own insecurities, neurosis and wrong turns to provide encouragement to listeners who may be struggling to keep moving forward.
