Hello listeners! Fate has conspired against us! So we don't have a new episode of Blood & Syrup for you this week, BUT! we're excited to have something else for you to check out: another podcast series we make, called "The Valentyne Heresy", and Season 2 is its own standalone story. It's got totally new characters, it's set on a grimdark sci-fi world in the universe of Warhammer 40,000 (but it also has a bunch of comedy, of course!) and Ryan once again steps over to the other side as Game Master.

You don't need to know anything about 40k. If you don't, a bunch of our players didn't when they started out, but they learned a lot, so it's a great intro. If you do know 40k, there's a lot of deep-cut lore because Ryan is 40k obsessed.

It's a cool, intrigue-based adventure, where a new team is thrust together and forced to take part in a race to see who becomes governor and to figure out which candidate may be more than they seem in an evil, spooky, sci-fi, grimdark way.
