Intuitive Astrology with Molly McCord

July brings a profound threshold into new beginnings, as an extraordinary concentration of planets in the earliest degrees of their signs signals the arrival of fresh timelines, expanded consciousness, and unseen opportunities beginning to take shape. The primary theme is learning to trust the subtle inner shifts already unfolding, even before external evidence appears. Jupiter in Leo squaring Chiron in Taurus at 0 degrees on July 1 encourages a deeper commitment to self-worth, healing, and embracing a new identity that is no longer defined by past wounds or limitations. Meanwhile, an exceptionally active Mars in Gemini energizes conversations, ideas, decisions, and mental breakthroughs while emphasizing the importance of thoughtful communication. Mercury retrograde in Cancer is underway and ruling Mars, reminding us to allow the heart to guide the mind before speaking or acting. As Mars activates the Nodes of Fate, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto throughout the week, powerful flashes of insight, unexpected opportunities, spiritual awakenings, and accelerated manifestations become possible, opening pathways that previously seemed unavailable. Although moments of disappointment or uncertainty may arise through the Sun's square to Saturn on July 6 and Neptune's station retrograde on July 7, these experiences ultimately encourage greater inner trust, intuitive clarity, and alignment with a higher vision that is taking shape. Movement will be picking up as the month proceeds, but Mars in Gemini is coming in strong with important messages and communications now.

The highlight of the month is an exceptionally rare alignment between Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter all at 4 degrees on July 18, which signals the beginning of a multi-year Renaissance period that will continue reshaping humanity through 2029.
