Following a string of self-releases, Brooklyn-based producer Supercontinuum unleashes his debut album, delivering twelve raw and high octane hardware experiments, primed for bare knuckle techno ravers...Our pick from the album is ‘Topped Bons, Part 2’, a mutant drone voyage where ghostly overtones and saturated basslines amalgamate into a sinister, slow-burning nightmare. As the track unravels, it conjures a macabre sonic hallucination, teetering on the edge of pure horror.

For the 393rd edition of the Inverted Audio Mix Series, we are thrilled to present an hour-long sonic journey from @edenaurelius. Currently based in New York, Eden’s spent many years immersed in the DIY and club scenes of NYC and Chicago, her previous home before relocating two years ago.

Last year’s debut ‘Pleateau’ was one of our favourite releases of 2024. A potent mixture of ambient and dub techno, ‘Pleateau’ has only gotten better in the spin around the sun since it was released. It hooks you in with its unhurried rhythms that pulse with a vibrant spirit. The album feels like a welcome time out from the anxieties of constant connections and endless news cycles.

Along with recent output by Purelink (who are friends and collaborators), Eden’s work feels like an essential new chapter in the long, winding story of ambient dub. As Summer takes control, we caught up with Eden to talk about her musical beginnings, all time and current favourite albums, and upcoming projects.

Dublin-based producer Conor Reilly, better known as Conor CC, inaugurates his own imprnt Origin CC with a high-octane debut single titled ‘Hidden Allure’...Clocking in at a brisk 130 BPM, ‘Hidden Allure’ carefully layers gauzy pads over hyper-stratified percussion, threading polyrhythms through syncopated vocal phantoms and bass-heavy convulsions. 'Hidden Allure' sits between the heady euphoria of peak-hour memory and the introspective murk of pre-dawn reverie.

Following the release of 'Asmaa' from Leese last May, Lisbon-based record label Discos Extendes line up their next dispatch 'Paranoico' from label boss and producer Diogo...Our pick is Mandacaru‘s remix of ‘Bateu Bué‘, a weightless jungle reverie for shapeshifters adrift in zero gravity. Subaquatic echoes bleed into shimmering break patterns, while crystalline piano motifs hover like half-remembered dream fragments. The track opens with disorienting underwater echoes intertwined with a shimmering pulse of jungle workout and celestial piano chords. As it unfolds, Mandacaru unveils an intricate web of crisp percussion and vaporous vocals, gradually spiralling into a moment of hallucinatory resonance, a kind of astral jungle where physical weight dissolves.

North Carolina-based producer Koppe returns with 'Isolated Research Sectors', his fourth and most fast-paced release to date...Our pick, ‘Pulsating Blue Light’, opens like a lost transmission from an off-grid observatory. Its relentless kick-drums pulse beneath LFO-swept modulations, forming a shimmering membrane that envelops the audience in alien warmth. Ghostly arpeggios dart through the mix like steel-made insects, while reverb-drenched synths emerge in the midsection, illuminating the void with fleeting precision.

Vienna-based record label Studio Bahöö return with the head-scrambling 'Rug Rally' EP from elusive producer Rigby on the Run...Our pick for the premiere is closing track 'River Lea‘. During the opening scene, the track starts with vaporous vocals drifting over glistening pads. The floor soon gives way to pummeling drum clusters and MIDI sparkle, unfurling into a vision of a river that glows. Somewhere between lament and looped ecstasy, River Lea feels like the emotional encore to a night spent chasing transcendence under the city's lights.

Beat Machine Records return with a percussive missive titled ‘Bantu’ that pairs local producer Maxwell Simons with the magnetic cadence of South African vocalist Richi Rich...On remix duties, ABADIR dives straight into the deep end with 'JOBURG'.
