In May 2020, the disturbing murder of George Floyd was recorded and shared globally. There was outrage, leading to global protests and pledges made by various organisations that they were committed to making a change to how the voices of ethnic minorities in particular, would be acknowledged and appreciated. Two years on, how much has really changed? In this podcast episode, Ipsos's REACH (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) Network Co-Chairs, Scarlett Luo and Belinda Lartey discuss the main takeaways from Ipsos' research amongst workers in the UK that explored their views on the extent to which their workplaces have changed in the last 2 years.

In the final episode of this podcast miniseries, the team of Bel, Sunny and Marcos discuss how the values of tradition and religious belief translate into reverence for particular community members to be key influencers on family matters. This is the Understanding the Drivers of Infant Immunisation podcast mini-series. During 6 podcast episodes, we will share the main insights from nearly 3 years of research to understand the drivers and barriers to complete infant immunisation.

Our research was focused on 3 sub-Saharan African countries (Nigeria, Guinea and Uganda) and, during this series, we highlight some key similarities, and differences, between the countries surveyed. Based on these insights, we also take a more holistic look at how to inform future interventions – and challenge some of the traditional approaches – when it comes to influencing health behaviours.
