* Cal chancellor Carol Christ says the ACC is interested in using Dallas as a place where teams in the new conference can come together to minimize the impact of travel for eastern and western schools.

Rapid Fire topics include:

* Who will Notre Dame's second-leading rusher be this season?

*A listener asks if Marcus Freeman is already a better head coach than Brian Kelly.

* Kelly denies he said his LSU Tigers would "beat the heck out of Florida State" in the wake of his team's loss. We have proof otherwise.

* Fill-in the blank...It’s BLANK that Stanford AD Bernard Muir says based on what he knows as of now, the Notre Dame – Stanford series will continue to be played annually after Stanford joins the ACC.

* How much differently are you looking at the Duke game on Sept. 30th after their win over Clemson?

* Duke quarterback Riley Leonard was denied a homework extension on work that was due after Monday's upset of Clemson.

The key to stopping NC State's offense is easy, stop QB Brennan Armstrong. Doing that, however, isn't as easy. Notre Dame needs a good plan, and it has to be executed if the Irish will prevail.
