Irish Breakdown has plenty of Blue-Gold football to discuss on today's show. We talk about what we're looking for in the game that doesn't involve the quarterbacks....but we'll also talk about quarterbacks Steve Angeli, CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey as well, including comments from college football analyst Danny Kanell on what he's heard from a Pro Football Hall of Fame source on the QB battle. The Notre Dame defensive line had its moments in recent seasons, but the combination of depth and talent has the position poised for a major breakout in 2025. There are still plenty of questions that must be answered, but the unit has shown a lot of promise this spring.

The Notre Dame linebacker room was flashy in 2024 but it can - and must - be more consistent in 2025. During the spring we've seen improvement in that area, which has the linebacker position group poised to become one of the nation's best this upcoming season.

With the spring coming to a close it's time to look at where things stand for Notre Dame, and the secondary has answered some key questions this spring. In fact, the secondary has shown this spring that it has the potential to be even better in 2025, which would be quite an accomplishment.
