Kam continues our study of Hebrews in this week with chapter 10. Here we see that we have a better possession in the sacrifice of Jesus than anything else this world has to offer. We have a great hope that we can cling to, ultimate redemption for our sinful nature that we cannot deal with ourselves.

On this Easter Sunday, Kam shows us through Hebrews 9 that Jesus has made a way for us, a way better than that of the old covenant law.  Because He sacrificed His life to cleanse our sins permanently, we can enter directly into the presence of God.  We now have access to everlasting peace.

Through Hebrews 8, Kam emphasizes that Jesus is a better priest than those of the old covenant because He mediates over a better, new covenant. Jesus's posture and place after His resurrection make clear that we must not cling to earthly copies of what is eternal. We are no longer offered shadows but true salvation.
