This week: Frasier season 2, episode 3, "The Matchmaker”
After their piratical adventures, the Counsellors have decided that it was lonely out there in the big wide world. So they want to settle down for a bit and try dating. Not each other. But they're going to try setting each other up. What could possibly go wrong? In order to figure out the best way to do so, the Counsellors have turned to a tried and true source of wisdom: the 90s sitcom Frasier. Specifically the episode called "The Matchmaker". Its right there in the title! Sarah regales us with the surprisingly queer genesis of the show. Sam gets to try out a couple of voices and accents! And at what point will we sing the theme song? Go on Campers, we're listening.
This week: Our Flag Means Death
Ahoy hoy Campers! Turns out the Is It Camp Palace had a dock out back. And in that dock, was a full-on pirate ship! So the Counsellors have decided to set sail for adventure on the newly named "HMS Jennifer Coolidge". Turns out they aren't that good at sailing, so they've brought in a special guest/pirate captain to show them the literal ropes: KatyBeth! While they're learning the piratical ways, you can check the entirety of Our Flag Means Death! Who is the only human in a show essentially full of Muppets? What are our hopes and dreams for season 2? And why does Sam hate Cat Stevens with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns? Join us for a gay old time in the big blue wet thing!
This week: Heritage Minutes
It's Canada Day (or close to it) and because the main foyer of the Is It Camp Palace is located on Canadian soil, it's only fair that the Camp Counsellors reminisce about Canadian things. Like peach baskets in basketball. Or houses made of dirt. And of course, who could forget Colm Feore, writing poetry, covered in blood? That's right, Sam and Sarah are looking back at the proud Canadian media oddity known as Heritage Minutes. Why are these historical tidbits both important to a millennial sense of Canadian history, and yet sorely lacking in some context? Why is Sam obsessed with obscure Canadian actors? And what in the name of Celine Dion is a House Hippo? (Seriously the Palace is teeming with the little pests.) We stand on guard for thee, and this episode!

This week: Rope
CW for violence. Skip 23:00-25:00 to avoid any descriptions.
Pop music super stardom didn't work out for Camp Counsellor Sarah, so she's decided to hide her dead dreams where no one can find them: under a tablecloth. And just in time too, because Camp Counsellor Sam is throwing a dinner party. A little bubbly, the tiniest chicken imaginable, and to end the night we will be watching Alfred Hitchock's Rope. Can we edit together an episode as smoothly as Alfred edited this film? How stupid do you have to be to mess up a murder? And what's this about Yeti hunting? Join us for an episode where the hosts definitely did not commit a crime! This week's charity: LGBTQ Freedom Fund at lgbtqfund.org
This week: Lil Nas X
The Pageant is over, the contestants have all gone home, and while Sam is cleaning up the Palace, Sarah has decided to become an international pop star. And she's decided to break into the medium through the use of memes. Unconventional choice, but sure, let's go along and see how it turns out. She says she learned it from watching Lil Nas X's rise to fame, so we're going to take in his career, as it is now.
What is the difference between Old Town Road and Montero? How many LGBTQ+ properties can the Counsellors talk about in one episode? And it took them over 40 episodes to finally talk about the Met Gala?
Join us as we ride the stripper pole down to Hell!

This week: To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar
So the finishing school didn't quite go as planned, instead we are pivoting into a Pageant! The back halls of the Palace are littered with discarded Spanx and empty lipstick tubes, as the scent of Aquanet and Got2b Glued permeates the air.
In lieu of a talent competition, we will be doing trivia based on To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar! So brush up on it.
How long before we make a 30Rock joke? How excited are we to see Beth Grant in this film? And can we really help a film where the protagonists begin as fully realised characters?

This episode: But I'm a Cheerleader
It's getting a bit weird at the Is It Camp Palace. Moreso than usual. Camp Counsellor Sam has decided to start a finishing school/summer camp for wayward youngsters, and he's hired Sarah as the groundskeeper/gym coach. Which makes no sense, because Sam was a personal trainer at some point, why would he delegate that position?
Well now its raining, the kids are stuck inside, and the Counsellors have decided to show them But I'm A Cheerleader.
Can Sam pull off a convincing Cathy Moriarty impression? Can Sarah hold back her love for Clea Duvall? And will RuPaul ever actually get into drag in this film?
All this and more, as we skip the foreplay and get right in there!
