I have heard so many awkward, weird, and uncomfortable tithe/offering speeches and sermons on giving, so I wanted to take the weirdness out of church collections, talk about some misconceptions when it comes to giving financially to a church, discuss what actually happens to your money when you give to a church, and what it does to our hearts when we do or don't give.

Before you swipe left on this episode, here me out! The Bible has a lot to say on this topic, so let's discuss the difference between a tithe and an offering as well as what we are called to do financially as the modern church.

I know how difficult it can be to give, and Lord knows I have tried to justify my way out of giving MANY times. However, it is often when we are struggling  that God wants to bless us most, we just have to trust him, turn out attention to Him, and follow his word in faith that he will provide when we are obedient to His word.
