In excess of ten women from New England have been found dead, some under eerily similar circumstances. The cases leave only the state of Maine exempt from the victim list. In conducting a rudimentary victimology, you come to find that several of the women had histories with addiction, domestic violence and generally, a tough life.

Police agencies including the Massachusetts State Police and Connecticut State Police do not believe that the cases are linked. In several of the cases perpetrators have already been arrested or strong suspects exist.  There is no gathering task force coming, the cops simply need more.
