The court will be ruling on the Diddy plea for bail this week. Judge Arun Subramanian asked questions about Diddy's possible out of custody arraignment which is more than what the last judge did. The Defense and the Prosecution made their arguments again in writing. We'll see what kind of conclusion this judge will make.
Bryan Kohberger has motions to suppress information. He has a Hearing to address those motions in January of 2025. The defense is arguing that the Google accounts that were searched are not tied to him so how can the Prosecution know they belong to the defendant?
Tom Girardi's sentencing has been pushed back to December 20th. His Illinois case was scheduled for December 19th in anticipation of the decision on the sentencing. Most likely that case's date will get pushed back to the beginning of 2025.

On Tuesday, November 19th, Diddy had a hearing to go over his concerns with an MDC raid that happened in his cell looking for contraband. The Defense argues that his attorney-client-privileges were trampled on because during the raid some of his legal pads were confiscated and it had the word LEGAL written on them clearly identifying that it shouldn't have been reviewed.
The court reviewed the images of the legal pad from the raid and that identification was not visible. There is now a bail hearing on Friday, November 22nd, and the court says that the defense better be prepared to provide context for why that label was not there.

Russell Lucius Laffite was one of the bankers that worked with Alec Murdaugh to steal money from his clients. He's been granted a new trial because the court removed an alternate without giving the defense an opportunity to object without the defendant present.
He will most likely be out on bail like the last trial. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know when a new hearing is scheduled. This is a federal case, so it won't be televised.

In a Memorandum Decision and Order, a judge found that the TikToker misrepresented the facts of the case when stating that the judge who found her liable for defamation was biased. The case will go back to the same judge who ruled on the summary judgement and will have a hearing on damages.

A lot of filings happened in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Criminal Case. The government is accusing Diddy of continuing to reach out to witnesses, intimidate witnesses and flout the rules of federal detention while being detained!
The Defense accuses the Prosecution of searching through the defendant's cell phone which has attorney-client-privilege information. There will be a hearing on these matters on Friday, November 22nd but I'll be surprised if he gets out of custody.

In the trailer for part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion, Bravo made it seem like Shannon Beador said she won a facelift lawsuit against John Janssen. I pull up the lawsuit and break down that it is still ongoing and in the settlement conference phase, but no conclusion has been made. When watching the episode, it is later revealed that Shannon was saying that she won a defamation lawsuit against John Bellino.
Kouri Richins is also back in court. She has been denied bail again, but she has won a motion to sever the murder charges from the financial charges.
Judge King usually live streams his court proceedings. It has been uncovered that he sometimes has the YouTube chat open and will post comments to the live chat. Judge King also has a Civil case against him for doing a "Scared Straight" version on a 15-year-old girl that was at the court for a field trip. The student had a hard time staying awake at court and the judge found that disrespectful to him and proceeded to do a mock trial to her based on her behavior.
The Laken Riley Murder trial has begun and many people have questions about where the jury is. This is a Bench Trial where the judge is the finder of fact. I breakdown why that is the case and the facts of the case without the graphic details.

Judge Cannon reviewed many motions for Karen Read's upcoming second trial. She took all of them over advisement and we should be hearing her ruling in a week or so.
The attorneys went over oral arguments for releasing the side bar transcript of the previous trial, discovery motions and request for continuance of the trial to April 1st 2025.
