With yet another defenseman (and a goalie) landing on IR, Lou Lamoriello was forced to make another acquisition to keep the Islanders afloat and we are forced to talk about both. But we also discuss the trade for another defenseman, Scott Perunovich, who was once a prized prospect for both the Blues and a certain notable hockey podcast. A former Hobey Baker winner, Perunovich battled injuries and lost roster spots in his time in St. Louis, and might be a nice get for the Islanders, provided he can avoid the calamity that has chased their blueline around all season.
