We are all locked in, all searching for answers to what has put us into this new reality. Many of us are looking to our spiritual leaders for guidance, instruction and understanding. What should our leadership be telling us? Should they be talking about unity? Should they be talking about comforting, and calmness in this scary time? Tamar Yonah speaks with award winning author, Tzvi Fishman, about a recent article he wrote on the need for Rabbis to warn Jews about what may be coming for them due to the coronavirus; loss of jobs, businesses, and possible lack of food supplies. He writes: "Overnight, ....Jews and other innocents will be mugged, houses will be broken into, people will be shot, like in previous times. In Europe, hungry minorities will turn into rampaging gangs. In many places, the governments will look on silently as Jews are attacked, claiming that there is nothing they can do. In other places, like America, the authorities will not have the manpower to prevent the anarchy. There are complaints from patients in New York hospitals that aides are not entering rooms with Jews." To understand what is happening in Europe during the coronavirus Pandemic, Rod Reuven Dovid Bryant and Jerry Gordon reached out to long term American ex-pat in Paris, writer, translator, journalist and author, Nidra Poller. Poller and Gordon have known each other for over 17 years when they first they met in Boston when Poller was involved in the Mohammed al Dura affair investigations and reporting on jihadist murders of fellow Jews in France. We last interviewed Poller about the disruptive Gillet Jaunes “Yellow Vests” protests of workers in France with demonstrable anti-Semitic attacks. To our surprise, we found out that Poller had suffered symptoms of a COVID-19 attack – dry cough, lack of taste, fever, fatigue that took her 10 days to gradually recover. This prompted her to begin a daily journal of what it was like under total confinement in Paris now in its third week. The interview occurred just before Passover, that disrupted Poller’s plans including the delayed visit of a new grandchild from Los Angeles.

Italian doctors were directed not to use ventilators on the over 60's in favour of the young. And the Netherland decided on Herd Immunity which is a death sentence for the elderly and frail.) Darwin would be proud.

In this season of redemption, Rabbi Yitzchak and William discuss some distinctions between the good eye and the evil eye as it relates to our outlook and perspective. We also discuss the actions of the righteous like Yotam in 2 Kings 15 and the courage of the Hebrews in following the commandments given them in taking a lamb, a symbol of one of the Egyptian's deities.
